Glossary of Sorts:
MOGAI: Acronym for Marginalized Orientations, Gender Alignments, Intersex. Itâs a more inclusive alternative to LGBT and a lot cleaner than adding more and more letters to LGBTQAIJKLMNOP+++. Read More...
Alterous Attraction: A form of emotional attraction. It describes a feeling that is not necessarily platonic/queerplatonic, but also is not romantic in nature. For some it may be in between romantic and platonic attraction, and for other it may be completely separate from the romantic/platonic distinction.
Sensual Attraction: also known as sensorial attraction, is a type of physical attraction to another person involving the senses, usually the sense of touch. This is not an explicitly sexual form of physical touch, for example, sensual attraction could involve an interest in nonsexual forms of touch such as cuddling, kissing, or massage. Sensual attraction can also be applied in non-tactile ways, such as attraction to voices. In the a-spec community, it is often helpful to distinguish sensual attraction from sexual attraction.
Aesthetic Attraction: A form of physical attraction to a personâs appearance. It is defined as an attraction to the way someone looks, or how they present themselves. Among allosexuals and/or alloromantics, aesthetic attraction is commonly felt alongside sexual and/or romantic attraction. In the a-spec community, it is typically useful to distinguish aesthetic attraction from sexual and romantic attraction.
Queerplatonic Relationships/Attraction: also called a quasiplatonic/quirkyplatonic/qplatonic relationship (abbreviated QPR), is a term for a relationship that bends the rules for telling apart romantic relationships from non-romantic relationships. It typically goes beyond what is considered normal or socially acceptable for a platonic relationship but is not romantic in nature or does not fit the traditional idea of a romantic relationship. Generally, but not always, used by arospec people.
Aplatonic/Apl: An identity on the aplatonic spectrum that is used most commonly by a-spec individuals who do not experience platonic attraction, or by those who do not relate to the concept of platonic love.
Neurogender: describes when oneâs gender is in some way linked to oneâs neurodivergency, mental illness, or neurological conditions. It is an umbrella term for any gender related to being neurodivergent, but it can also be used as an identity on its own. Neurogender is not neurodivergency as a gender, but rather is a gender that is so heavily influenced by neurodivergency that oneâs gender and neurodivergency cannot be unlinked.Not everyone who is neurodivergent has a neurogender, only those who feel their gender is influenced by their status as neurodivergent. Neurogenders are exclusive to those of a given neurotype, though oftentimes there are similar terms available to neurotypical people who have similar experiences and donât wish to appropriate.
Xenogender: An umbrella term for non-binary gender identities that cannot be fully described through their relation to concepts typically used to describe gender such as masculinity, femininity, androgyny, neutrality, agenrity, or outherinity. Instead, xenogenders can best be described through how they relate to things, beings, or concepts that most people donât think of as having to do with gender, such as animals, plants, things, or concepts. Generally, xenogenders fall into at least one of three categories: Nouns and Archetypes, Aesthetics and Synesthetic Perceptions, or Neurotypes. They could also be dependent on situations, kintypes, or oneself.

Q1: What flags will you add?
A1: Anything even tangentially related to MOGAI identities aside from a few listed below. Occasionally I may add flags for other social movements or marginalized communities such as anarchism or veganism or disabilities.
Q2: Will you add a flag for me?
A2: Sure! I have a massive backlog of over 6500 flags right now and Iâm prioritizing simpler designs since theyâre quicker to make. Just send me a link to the original (or better yet, make a 5000x3000px png yourself).
Q3: How can I make a good flag?
A3: Check out this guide we made a while ago. Iâve made several handy folders of templates and transparent PNGs as well as pre-made scraps that can be used for whatever.

Q4: Did you make all of these flags?
A4: Oh dear no, that would be a lot! Weâve made a ton but the majority of the work done here is simply cleaning up existing flags in high quality to be accessible and usable by the community. We try our best to properly credit the original creators but itâs a challenge with so many flagsâespecially with so many people changing blog names or deactivating. Anything made by us will be clearly marked in the post description. If you do not want your flag displayed here (y tho) let us know and weâll remove it. Just donât be rude about it.
Q5: Can I use these flags to make graphics or adopts or anything pride-related?
A5: Yes, absolutely! The nature of pride flags is to be free and in the public domain since they are made for the community. Go wild! Do whatever! Make a little money! However. If youâre going to just take the flags and upload em on another site to sell as-is (that is, not edited in any way), please at least give me (and the flagâs original creator) a small cut of the profit. Iâve poured hundreds of hours on this project as the main contributor so itâs a bit frustrating to see other people making a direct profit from my work.
Q6: Will you add flags for allies, cis, straight, allosexual & alloromantic, or kinks?
A6: That depends. If the flag is in a combination flag (such as Alloaro or straight trans) then yes. They are marginalized in their own ways and have unique experiences. If theyâre strictly non-marginalized identities then no. Thereâs no reason for them to have pride flags because they are seen as the default in society. Kinks are fine and all but Iâm trying to keep this archive relatively SFW. Thereâs other blogs that can handle that. Plus Iâm just not comfortable spending hours researching kinks/fetishes Iâm uncomfortable with, especially being a-spec.
Q7: Arenât all these made up genders hurting ârealâ LGBT people since nobodyâs gonna take any of us seriously?
A7: Iâll answer that by asking how many anti-gay or anti-trans laws have you seen proposed that cite people using bunself pronouns or danganronpagender as a reason they donât want LGBTQ+ people having rights? How long has queerphobia existed vs how long have people been coining hyperspecific terms to describe their identity at the rate we see today?
Any sort of exclusion harms us all (and that includes exclusion to other non-MOGAI marginalized groups such as disabled people, people of color, non-human animals) because all oppression is interconnected. Just because someone isnât hate-crimed as much as another person or is too different to empathize with doesnât mean they should be excluded. Weâre stronger together and as soon as we stop crying about xenogenders or bi lesbians or a handful of mean people in a social movement we can actually tackling actual problems, like climate change, or trump supporters, or the meat industry.
Q8: I still donât understand any of this.
A8: Thatâs okay! You donât have to understand, or memorize all these terms, you just have to respect them. Even I donât understand many of the terms I add but I think itâs beautiful (and overwhelming given how much work I have) that people are feeling more and more comfortable finding and creating new terms that fit them, no matter how niche they are.
Q9: What if someoneâs wrong or changes their mind?
A9: It happens sometimes. Thatâs another great thing about labels, you donât have to stick with them if they donât fit you. Things change; interests and life circumstances change and things we identify with change with them. You may realize something else fits better. Or you may decide you really only need one or two labels to describe you. Maybe after years of searching you realize you really are cis and straight after all; even if none of this fits you anymore, or at all, youâve now gained a new understanding of yourself!
Q10: Do people really identify with specific things like âcupio-aqueerplatonifluxâ?
A10: Possibly! Thereâs no limit to how specific someone can get with their identity. In the case of orientation flags Iâll always make variations with all 7 âmainâ attraction types whenever possible. Doesnât really matter if anyone cares to ID with some of them or not, itâs easy enough to make so why not?

Boost posts on my and spread the word around. Itâs very discouraging only getting 1 or 2 notes.
Help fix flags in the [Un-fixed] folder in the Mega.nz drive. Set up your own dropbox/mega/etc or anything that keeps the original file name and wonât ruin the quality. (And please put the full term name + credit if you know it in the file name, no keysmash or shorthand)
Help find flags not yet in the gallery or mega folder. Preferably keep a text file with source links + put credit in the flag filename too. Or send flag-makers my way to submit them themselves. Help find the credits for flags in my gallery that are missing them.
