He was on his way, worry filling him more than anything. Yet his mind keeps going back to that girl. Why?
Maybe... It wasnât her specifically. But by what happened...
His stare was immense. Where did she come from? I mean, for sure, the park was public but not many people actually approached him for what he was doing.
He opened his mouth to speak, but she held up her hand, the ever gracious smile on her lips. Rounding him to stand behind him, he let out a gasp when he felt fingers brush along his hair and pull gently at the strands.
âYou must be wary. The trial you will soon face, though you may think it safe because it is she... Do not allow your guard to fall; For I fear...â
A silence fell upon the girl, and Everâs eyes darted to the side. He opened his mouth to question her, but--
âYou are summoned, Prince Ever.â
His gaze landed upon a knight, one from his own kingdom making his way over to them. Sir Ted. He frowned. âWait..â
âWait, how did you know who--â Ever turned to the girl but in surprise, she is gone. He blinked owlishly before catching something in his peripheral.
âYour Majesty, I have grave news...â
Eyeing the single feather, he turns it between his fingers. A feather, and a ribbon now tied in his hair.
The wind begins to howl outside, bringing him from his daze as he gazes out, seeing what looks like a dusting of sparse snow beginning to fall.
âArendelle is in need of assistance. Their King has passed and the kingdom is trapped in a terrible snowstorm. The Queenâs secretary calls upon you; for their Queen is...â
âStory, what happened?â
