    Rosalina takes a few looks around the main room, before settling on someone who looked at least a little familiar. Kooky von koopa. While she didn’t know him personally, she has met someone who was quite similar, so this should be a good place to start.

    “Hello?”Rosalina taps Kooky’s shoulder, trying to get his attention.   “Have you by any chance seen a map around here? While I do love the party, I cannot seem to find my way around this Casino.”

The sudden shoulder tap startled him slightly causing his hair to puff up, “Hmm? Um yes how can….” a map of the casino? “It would seem my dear that we’re in the same boat, this is my first time here as well and I don’t think I saw a map.” He said nervously chuckling, was there a map and he walked right past it? Oh stars this is bad, “Ah allow me to introduce myself, im kooky von koopa…My husband is boom and he’s somewhere around here…might I ask what your name is?” He said extending his scared (mainly bite marked) riddled hand out to her.

Rosalina shakes his hand, nodding.

“Hello, Kooky von Koopa. I have many titles, but you can just call me Rosalina.”

Something about the stranger made her seem…regal, and almost unreal in a sense. The way she moved made it seem like she could float away at any second-but only if she wanted it to be so. She wasn’t even touching the ground, her shoes hovered mere centimeters off of the ground.

“That is rather unfortunate. I was thinking of simply following someone else, but I haven’t got a clue as to where anything is anyways, so I could very well end up following some poor soul to the bathrooms on accident when I meant to go to the main room.”

He could tell she was of royalty, but this is a lovely social event so best not to pry into somethings….is she floating? Ah well even if she is it’s always lovely to see different kinds of magic.

 Kooky smiled as he let go of her hand, “Im sure either the bartender or the host themself can guide you better than I could ever, heh I think that my husband did just that….ah seeing as I can’t see him anymore in my field of vision…I hope boom isn’t to lost.“ He says looking around. "Just asking, where is it your from Ms.Rosalina? ”

       “Where am I from...my oh my, that is a complicated question, is it not?” Rosalina floats a little lower as she thinks about it.       “I am a traveller-from everywhere and nowhere, if that makes any sense. My current home is the comet observatory. Over the years I have been alive, that has been the place I have called home longest.”

        Rosalina pulls out a few family photos showing a grandiose building of strangely alien architecture, that...didn’t look to be a building. In fact, it looked more like a space ship than anything else.  A strange blend of construction styles that have been long forgotten mixed with technology and magic yet to be invented, and it all managed to look quite open in the process. In some of the photos, you could pinpoint the center of the ship. A shining star. Most of the photos were of strange star-shaped creatures that seemed to shine almost as brightly as the star that powered their home.

       “Where are you from, young one?”

🍹 (ask-rosa-starstuff) Rosalina looked at one of the menus, thinking of what she would order. It all looked so good, but the comet caught her eye. But, all the same, the Cosmic observatory looked good as well. "...Oh, what to choose, what to choose."

“Good evening, miss~ if you’re stuck for choices I can certainly offer an oppinion,”

   Rosalina looks up from her menu to get a good look at the bartender, before registering what he said    “Oh, why thank you. What would you recommend?”

He folded his wings up behind himself and thought, “Well it depends on your tastes. Colour of Sunrise is a bit more of a tangy flavour, cosmic observatory is much more of a sweet flavour but rather refreshing, comet it more within the tart family whereas lucky star is a blend.” He ‘leaned’ in the counter, “It depends on your tastes as I said~”

   Rosalina thinks on this for a moment, but only for a moment. She clears her throat before responding...

     “Oh, well, I do always enjoy sweeter drinks. May I please get one Cosmic Observatory?”

fiddling with her new dress to make sure it fit just right. Unlike the clothes she usually wears, this lovely gown was a deep blue, and quite unlike her other dress, it had short sleeves. Her deep blue satin gloves shimmered in the starlight, and her starbit shaped crystal earrings sent glowing spots dancing around while she walked. Rosalina let her hair grow out a little, and did less to straighten it out so it had waves that looked as gentle as the calmest ocean. All in all, it came together to form a wonderfully elegant look that Rosalina had hoped would be good enough for the party.

    She stopped just as she came up to the entrance to take a moment to breathe. Oh, it took a lot of work to get here, but she needed a few days to enjoy herself. Polari wasn’t long behind, insisting that while he didn’t get a chance to put on new clothes, these blue contacts should do just fine, despite the fact his eyes had already been a brilliant sky blue to start with, and he didn’t wear clothes in the first place. 

 “Oh stars, I just hope we are not too late.”  “Come on, relax, the party’s just started! I’m sure we’re the first ones here, and that there’s nothing to worry about.” Polari shrugs, keeping an eye on his pocket watch. ”Well then, in that case, there isn’t any time like the present. Lets go.”     With that, Rosalina takes a deep breath, and she walks into the casino. ( @askroulettechomp )

how do you feel about rosalina's current va? she has had three vas just in case you didn’t know

    (OOC: I prefer Rosalina’s first VA, Mercedes Rose. Kerri Kane and Laura Faye Smith are good voice actors as well, though. They each bring something unique to their rolls after all! I prefer Mercedes Rose because she tends to have a much calmer tone of voice that seems to fit her actions in Super Mario Galaxy very well, and it is something I feel has not been captured well as of late. That isn’t to say Kerri and Laura haven’t done well- I like their voices too, and they fit the games they have been cast in rather well.)
