Eryn hummed, curling her tail around the eggs when she felt one twitch. "Well, I was the one who found Bradley as an egg. He was all alone, not even in a nest or protected den or anything. I claimed him as my own, so you can say he's my son." She purred a laugh. "I can only hope raising these three will be as easy as it was with him."

Eryn smiles down at the small Pokemon, setting her head down on her outstretched paws to be on his level. “My, aren’t you the cutest little thing…”

She tilted her head in response to Aitan’s question. “Well…I am always warm, I can tell you that. You can…feel the fire inside you. And sometimes I wake from a nap to find a random assortment of wild Pokemon come to cuddle up to my warmth. I welcome them, as they normally need the comfort a warm fire brings.”

ok so 600+ followers??? I honestly cant believe I’ve gotten so many!! (especially considering my lack of activity recently and I’m sorry for that)

This calls for celebration!! And I know what I want to do! (this post would be a lot easier to make if I was in computer but I’m away from that at the current time and I don’t wanna forget about this so i guess I’ll make words work) So! You guys know how those egg giveaway post have been floating around? And the fusion egg giveaways? And the design giveaways? Now watch as I take them and do something similar but kind of new! (I hope!)

So here’s the deal, my guys, gals, and every other gender that might be following me! I’m going to do a TYPE VARIANT POKEMON EGG+DESIGN WOMBO COMBO GIVEAWAY!! So how this works is if you’re a Pokémon blog (and you don’t have to be following me! Yippee to you my friend) and you REBLOG THIS POST, MESSAGE ME, or just SEND IN AN ASK, with the POKÉMON AND TYPE YOU WANT, I will submit to you the egg and design of your selection~

And a quick clarification on what Pokémon type variants are! These are Pokémon that resemble the original, but have an altered design and a different type(s)! I can’t give a good example here, but if you go to Google images and look up “Pokémon type variants” you’ll get some images that show what I mean. So for example, let’s say you ask for a dark type Pikachu. It would have a changed design to show off its dark typing, while still having the basic concept of a Pikachu. (you can tell what it is, but it’s still different.) I’m bad at explaining things without an image but I hope this helps!

Now to lay down a few rules (there are some mostly so I dont overwork myself): 1. Again, you must be a Pokémon blog! Whether it’s an ask blog, a rp blog, or of course, a daily blog, you can be given one of these! You don’t even have to be following me (though I’d really really love it if you did) to receive! 2. What is the most precious thing you own?

I couldn’t resist, I had to answer this right away bcuz I’m sentimental and I really like talking about it.

It’s actually a little photo of me and my best friend(sister, really) on my first Birthday since I’d met her. It’s a Polaroid Photo, from the one her mother owned. It was my…ninth or tenth birthday. I’ve had it almost ten years now. Its sitting propped up on my display of stuffed animals.

8. Do you genuinely want your muse to be happy? What do you think would make them most happy in life?

Of course I do! I love them all and wish them the best in life, even if I’m the one influencing them. 

Gosh, for Eryn and Calem its all about having a family. Whether its the one they’ve put together here, or children(huehuehue). They both had not so nice pasts, so they welcome all the affection(even tho Calem may not seem appreciative).

Benny just wants a warm, quiet place. Curled up with someone reading him a nice book is his favorite thing.

Lexi honestly wants someone like her, Shiny. Someone that understands looking so different. Not to say the others in the Family aren’t understanding, but its just not what she needs. Hopefully that will be amended soon.

Zayn is pretty content with his life. He spars with others whenever he wants, can fly as long as he wants, and can come home to pats and family. He has all he wants.

Brad…thinks his life is pretty great. He may be very timid, but he has a wonderful mother in Eryn, see’s Calem as his hero, and has friends. He’s happy, they all are really.

Hey y'all. Sorry for being so inactive, but I basically lost motivation to draw my characters. I've just always had issues with my view on my art, and I'm trying to work through them. However, I am going to turn this into a writing ask blog. I may occasionally doodle, but probably not often. I have a few asks, some of them Pokemon being summoned or given to me, an egg or two, and others. I'm going to let them sit for a little while more, so I can organize them and do them properly. I'm not ignoring you! I am not disappearing from the drawing aspect though! I actually have an idea for another blog, one with characters I will actually be able to draw. The main will be a Rayquaza, who the blog is dedicated to. He basically runs a sort of Dragon Type sanctuary. There will be many Pokemon showing up in his asks as he takes care of them, but a few that will be reoccurring are a Goodra, Dragonair, Dratini, and Hydreigon. Im very excited for this! I already have the introduction post sketched out. I had the inspiration last night at like 2am and spent like an hour on it last night. So yeah. Update.

“A fading memory…” Calem murmured, letting out a low sigh. “Sleeping next to my mother. And the other pups in the litter. I can remember her scent. It was like a fresh spring day. The feeling of her gently nosing at us…” Seeming to remember just where he was, Calem shook his head and crossed his paws, fixing his expression into a more neutral one. “I don’t remember much that far back. Not anymore.”

‘A childhood memory’

Eryn came padding over when Lexi called to her, leaving the eggs for Brad to watch over. “Yes? I don’t want to leave the eggs for very long. They’re close to hatching.”

“Saved a question for you.” Lexi said, smiling down at the lioness. “Figured you would be the better one for this.”

“A childhood memory?” Eryn question, looking over at the anon. “Oh, well…I do remember one thing vividly. This was before I met Ithilwen, when I lived in my Pride. I had three brothers, and two sisters to play with. I remember our oldest brother liked to play prankster, and I often fell victim to them.” She laughed softly to herself, eyes lost in the memory. “My own fault for being so curious. Anyways, one time he pretended to be a Seviper hiding in the long grass, making these hissing noises and slinking around like one. Fooled me good, especially when he had me tense enough and leaped out of the grass. I swear I jumped three feet into the air, he scared me so bad. It was all fun and games, though. No hard feelings. At least, after I had singed the tip of his tail.”

“Hey, so that’s why my pranks never worked on you!” Lexi complained, landing and pouting at Eryn.

Rolling her eyes, Eryn shook her mane and huffed a laugh as she stood. “We also found you as a young Trapinch, and I basically helped Ithilwen raise you. I learned.”

‘An eye-opening memory’

Lexi cackles, swooping down to sit next to Calem, who glared at her. It didn’t have much heat, however. “I think Calem just had an ‘eye-opening’ memory. Dense dog.”

Calem let out a growl and swiped at Lexi, but only caught air as the Flygon nimbly leaped away. “Be quiet, desert sprite!”

Twirling in the air, Lexi sent a smirk down towards her canine friend. “Anyways, that plot point aside, I have an eye-opening memory. Remember, Calem, that time I went all rebellious and went off on my own? That huge fight we all had the night I left. I had met an old Hippowdon about six months after that and we talked for quite a while. Some of the things he said stuck with me, and then I reflected back on that memory…and realized I may have been wrong in that fight. So I came back. Quite eye opening, if I do say so myself.”

Calem frowned, ears drooping in the memory of such a sour night. “That wasn’t a good time for the team.”

Lexi shook her head, letting the sad expression fall from her face. “Anyways, next question please! For anyone, of course.”

Calem: “Well…I never had friends in my life before this team, so all my memories with friends are limited to my teammates. But the first one that comes to mind is the night Bradley hatched. Eryn was the one who found his egg all alone, so she was the one taking care of him. She’s basically his mother. Anyways, we were all there when he hatched and it was…amazing? A strange feeling. Especially seeing Eryn so overjoyed…”

Lexi: *butting in* “Cal, I don’t think amazement at Brad’s hatching is what you were feeling.”

Calem: “B-be quiet!”
