Being that Mike's life was a series of misadventure, it was only a matter of time before he got dumped somewhere without Harley. This time, it was a weird fleshy wasteland, and he was in his pre death body. Pustules and eyes pulsed and flickered as the very ground seemed to breath.
Mike looked at his human hands and breathed a sigh full of mixed emotions. He looked around and was confused by the environment he was in.
“What the hell?” Was the only words he could come up with to describe his situation.
Slight footsteps sounded behind him, whatever it was, it was large and moved quietly. Before Mike could really react, hot breath blew against the back of his neck.
"What's this I've found?"
A voice behind him mockingly crooned.
"You've found a very... confused man who should not be here" He said not turning to face whatever was behind him. "and I'm guessing you are very big and probably gonna eat me."
"Perhaps to something as small as you I am large, but you are an interesting little thing. I don't think I'll be eating you... Yet."
The voice purred and the creature came into view. Heavily muscled, with a thick black coat and a set of bright red horns crowning his head, Mike was faced with a dragon. One that could easily flip an armored vehicle.
"What it your name? I'm Hastur."
He lowered his head to get a better look at Mike, revealing bright, swirling red eyes.
“I’m... Michael” he said, a bit taken aback by the dragon.
“May I ask why you considered me interesting?”
"You are something that I've never seen in my centuries of life, and I would be amiss if I didn't speak to you, or study you. It would be a wasted opportunity!"
His tone had that edge to it that his father used to have when talking about remeniant. Manic. Yeah, this was a bad scenario for Mike.
“Well... what do you want to know?” He seemed cautious, the manic tone not giving the greatest sense of comfort
