[[ OOC: Um.. wow.. Okay. I have no clue what kind of story is requested, but.. I can try… xD I’ll also assume that this is still related to my ask blog sooo~ I’ll try to keep the story related to that. x3 Oh and I will be getting to all other questions soon, I promise! I will try to finish the questions that are simple and then get to the other questions that require a few more than just three panels. x3 I apologize (yet again) for taking so long to answer your questions! ]]
A small wind blew gently, causing the leaves to dance along to its silent music. The sun barely shone as the dark clouds above covered its brilliant light. All around her, despite the dark clouds above, life just seemed to shine so brightly. Life was something that surrounded her, but… it just seemed to be something that she lacked. Even so, she wasn’t going to let it bring her down. She was going to keep moving on, even if she couldn’t remember her past. She was going to make sure to live her undead life to the fullest, bringing forth new memories that would bring her the joy that she had first felt when she had awoken from her death.
Munak had somehow stumbled upon a secret path that allowed her to make it out of Payon Caves. It only lead to a cliff with a soft patch of grass, colorful wild flowers that brought color to a mostly brown area, and only two trees growing on it. Still, it was something that Payon Caves lacked. It was something that brought forth a new sort of happiness to Munak and she wanted to cherish this spot and make it special, something that she would only share with people that she felt close to. Of course, that would be practically everyone that would be her friend.
Getting up from her seat, Munak stretched happily as she closed her eyes and smiled a bit. Just the feeling of a small ray of sun on her face made her feel all of the warmth that the world had to offer. It was definitely a different feeling from the torches that loomed around in Payon Caves and this feeling.. she most definitely enjoyed a lot more. As much as she wanted to stay here a little longer, Munak knew that she had to go back. By now, Bongun would be looking for her and she didn’t want to keep him waiting any longer.
Just as she turned around, a small droplet quickly caused her to flinch. Munak’s eyes widened as she looked around in confusion, her reflexes kicking in as she unintentionally attacked the air. When her hands came into contact with nothing, Munak reached up as she touched the spot where the droplet had hit her. She blinked innocently as she stared at the small amount of water on her hand before another droplet hit her. Looking up at the sky, her eyes widened once more as she smiled a bit, watching as the sky began to cry a little more. Raising her hands up, she held her smile as she felt the water slowly sliding down her skin. She had seen water in Payon Caves before and she had seen the water droplets falling from the stone spikes on the cavern ceiling, but she had never seen the sky crying before. Then again, she’s never seen the sky until today.
"Munaaak? Where are you?!" Munak slowly lowered her arms as she turned her gaze towards the entrance. She could hear Bongun’s voice echoing off of the cavern walls, clearly showing that he was now looking for her. She frowned slightly, not wanting to leave the beauty that this world had to offer. Munak turned her gaze back towards the lush greenery, her mouth slightly agape as her sadness became clear on her face. Did they really have to stay in this cave? Did they really have to stay hidden from the life outside? With this taste of freedom, this taste of life, Munak just.. didn’t want to stay holed up in a cave anymore. She wanted something more, but… she also didn’t want to leave Bongun by himself. Time and time again, Bongun had told her that the world outside was unsafe. He, himself, didn’t know why, but he just had that feeling. He was important to him and although she didn’t necessarily know why, Munak felt a strong attachment to him the second they had woken up.
She bit her bottom lip as she heared Bongun’s voice once more. Maybe.. it was alright if they stayed in this cave. After all, she had this secret spot. That.. was enough. Just a small taste would be enough for Munak. She didn’t want to be greedy nor did she want to make Bongun worry about her. There had to be a reason why they were in this cave, right? There just had to be..
With one last longing gaze over the horizon, Munak turned her back to the world as she made her way into Payon Caves. One couldn’t really be lonely in Payon Caves anyway. Munak had made so many new friends after waking up that it would be sad to leave them all behind. Plus, there were always new people that came in to play with them! So, in a way, Munak was still able to interact with the outside world. It may be in a small way, but it was still something.
Finally, once out of the passage, Munak looked around before making her way out into the open. Luckily, no one else seemed to be around. As much as she wanted to show everyone her super secret spot, Munak had to keep it a secret! She smiled happily, feeling like she had the best secret in the whole world as she hopped along. Hopefully, no one else would ever find her secret spot. "Munak! There you are!"
Munak looked up from her thoughts as her eyes landed on the dim figure hopping her way. She smiled, coming to a stop as he soon stopped just a small distance away as well. Bongun seemed to always worry about her, but she always seemed to be the one protecting him instead. It confused Munak a little bit, but she had gotten used to it by now. Bongun let out a small sigh as he grinned a bit. “Come on! There’s another adventurer here!”
"Really?! Let’s play with them!" Without waiting for a response from Bongun, Munak had began moving forward. Bongun had called out for her to wait, but she was far too excited to slow down. It took all of Bongun’s power just to catch up to Munak. After all, how was Munak going to get to the adventurers if she had no idea where they were? He needed to be the one to lead the way at this moment. "I hope they know lots of games! I wanna play a lot!"
"What if they’re dangerous though?"
"But… games!" Bongun sighed. He already knew that once Munak had her mind set on possible games they could play, there was no stopping her. There had been plenty of times when they got into trouble just because Munak wanted to play something and each and every time, they had trouble getting out of that situation. This time most likely wouldn’t be any different, but they still had to be prepared.
It didn’t take long until finally, they were able to get to where Bongun had last seen the adventurers. The two looked around, the excitement slowly dying down as confusion and disappointment began to kick in. Bongun scratched the side of his head, uncertain as to where the adventurers may have gone off to. With the excitement out of their system, Munak pouted as she kicked a nearby pebble. “Not fair.. They left before we could play.”
"Um.. It’s okay. we can play dress up and you can make me look really good like always!" As fun as it was to dress up and pretend to be adventurers, they had played that game far too often for Munak to find much enjoyment in it. Granted, she did quite like that game and it was one of her favorites, but it had been played too much at this point. Just as they were about to head back home, a light suddenly came from nowhere as it engulfed Bongun’s being. A scream erupted from Bongun’s mouth, a terrible, agonizing scream, even if the light had only been just a few mere seconds. However, even when it seemed like hope would be restored, the process repeated itself time and time again. Munak looked around, panic kicking in as she tried to find the source of the light. She knew that the light was usually a healing spell since she had seen adventurers use it time and time again, but normally she would have been able to knock them away from Bongun by now!
Her being froze as she finally realized that the screaming had stopped. There was no way that.. No! She couldn’t think like that. Bongun was stronger than that and there was no way that the healing spell would have beaten Bongun so easily. She had just started to turn to look at Bongun before a voice soon broke the silence once more. She instantly turned their way, her eyebrows furrowing as she readied herself. "Munak! There you are!"
"Who are you.. And why did you hurt Bongun?!" Munak’s narrowed as she suspiciously eyed the being as he began searching through his robes for something. What was he doing? What was so important for him to ignore her question?! "It’s not safe to be alone!"
Munak had taken just a single step forward, read to strike the man down, when the man pulled out a scroll of some sort that had been rolled up and tied neatly. In that instant, she froze as her eyes widened. Why.. did that scroll look familiar? What was it about that scroll that made her freeze up and keep from attacking that man whom had mercilessly attacked Bongun? Before she could get her answers though, a wooden machine of some sort had suddenly popped up once the scroll had been opened. She stared in confusion, her body tensing as she readied herself for any attack that came their way. "Munak…! Ru..n..!"
She would have turned around to look at Bongun, but she had to keep her defenses up. Munak had this feeling that she just HAD to keep Bongun safe no matter what! Even though she was currently failing this feeling, Munak had to try her best. Suddenly, the sound of a lever could be heard as she watched the machine turn her way. She watched as the images on the machine slowed before coming to a stop and showing a happy face. Munak couldn’t read the words underneath the face, but she didn’t necessarily have the time anyway as suddenly, something underneath her had appeared.
Her eyes widened with surprise as she took a step back, the circle quickly creating lines that went all around her. Munak watched, trying to keep up with the lines as the world around her began to disappear behind this new casing. Biting her bottom lip, she threw her hand forward, her hand trying to pierce the case that seemed to almost completely engulf her being. Sadly, it seemed as though her attack was ineffective as the casing came close to completion. Before the cavern around her completely disappeared, a voice called out her name. A voice… that she would never hear again.
