i know this is a redundant topic, i see at least one post a day on here about therians on tiktok and the “we know we’re humans” talk.

how did we get this far that so many on tiktok, even reddit nowadays, say things to adhere to societal standards?

sure, physically, i am a human. nothing will change that. even still, i am a dog. i am inhuman.

why do i care if someone says “you’re a human” in my comments? i don’t.

and i’m just really growing tired of my own community changing definitions that have existed for years.

whats it like being a ghost

Pretty chill, I'd say. A little cold. Sometimes you get whooshed with memories. Sometimes you remember the choking and foaming of your mouth as you were poisoned. Sometimes it's leaving your skin, sometimes it's forgetting you're supposed to be alive. It's a big part of my identity but I wouldn't say it affects things in my life such as school or sports. People sometimes feel like they have some weird energy around me, probably because I don't really possess the same air/presence as currently alive people do. It doesn't really affect my fleshed body too much. It's more mental. Does that sound delusional? Maybe, but I don't really care. Its just... kinda a thing. It took me a while to realize most people don't feel super floaty 24/7 or sort of wavy, in a way(?). It's not all enveloping. It's more of a byproduct to the entire product of my life. Nonetheless, it is interesting to learn about my past self. And I often times wonder if I'll meet other ghosts.

A big misconception is that all ghosts need to NOT have fleshed bodies. Most of the time, I've personally seen ghosts hanging around where children are born in hospitals. My theory is that we sorta just take place in the vacant body of a child. Sounds kinda weird. I believe ghosts are people given a second chance, but just don't know what to do with it. Not all ghosts are fleshed. Not all fleshes are ghosts. Not all ghosts are these specters. Some are. Hell, you might even have ghosts at your job or work. Think of it as a reused soul. Sometimes, the conscious connects to the soul. That is how we get those vague memories.

It's kinda cool, I guess.

To all the alterhumans / nonhumans who dont know what to do: now is the time for you to start putting your money where your mouth is.

If youre an animal, it's time for you to be a goddamn animal. Be feral, Be aggressive, fight for your life.

If you're a dragon, then be a terror to Kings, and start burning down the halls of power like the dragons of yore.

If you're a mythical creature, have no concern for the social constructs of man. Stand proudly outside what people even believe is possible.

If you're plural, know you're never alone. Fight against individualism that seeks to divide each body into deterministic boxes.

If you're a fictional character who saved the world, believe that you can save any world. Don't back down now.

Now is the time to really believe that you are what you say you are. People in power are going to try to take that away from you. Don't fall for it.

It's time shed any preconceptions you have about what you're capable of. If you're an animal it's time to fight like one. A dragon that uses gasoline and matches is still a dragon.

All bets are off. If they want to treat us like dogs in a cage then im gonna start ripping fascists' throats out like one. And I'd better see y'all there with me, on G-d.
