Welcome!

What is up, everybody? My name is Thomas Sanders, and I'm the current head of the Supernatural and Immortal Divisions of Ensured Secrecy, also known as SIDES!

We here at SIDES are an organization with stations all over the globe (though they all share an interior) dedicated to keeping the supernatural and magical world hidden from those who wish to use it for purposes it wasn't meant to be used for. We make sure that our members, the majority of whom are magical themselves, will help us keep the secret and all supernatural individuals safe. And you guys will be helping us, too!

As new recruits, feel free to explore the SIDES headquarters while you get yourselves situated, and I encourage you to chat with people! You won't have to join a division just yet, since you're new, but if you want to join one, let us know!

She smiled, "I could probably fix you if you do die!" -🦴

"Probably," Juliet nods. "William can bring either of us back by just writing it into happening, though, so if we can contact him it should be fine."

You're not from either of these words, hm~? -🥞

Juliet covers her face with her free hand. "No. William summoned us here by accident, and we weren't able to go back."

Roman perks up and almost shouts, "William? O-kay, if we're thinking about the same guy then I'm going to flip."

"We probably are," sighs Romeo. "Old Billy Shakes. The Bard figured out immortality and somehow pulled his characters right out of our scripts."

It's Logan's turn to be surprised now. "He's still alive? Immortals are supposed to register with SIDES, he should have been on our records hundreds of years ago."

"Exactly why he'd be mad at me for telling you."

She tilted her head, "what's wrong?" -🦴

Juliet is gripping her boyfriend's hand as if for dear life. "I- uh-"

Romeo sighs. "Dad's gonna kill me again for this one. And probably you for real this time."

That's an interesting word choice, hm? -🥞

"I just meant... summoned to this otherworld!"

Joan raises an eyebrow. "But someone read a spell to get us here, we weren't summoned."

"I- well- okay, does it really matter that much?"

"It does now that you're getting all worked up about it."

Yeah, much as I like staying warm I think a fire might be a bit too much. But it could be a good base to go off of. Maybe some kind of weaker version of that spell?

"I'll see what I can find."

Val sits down and closes her eyes, leaving the only conversation still happening to be that between Juliet, Romeo, and everyone else that they're clearly trying to throw off of whatever trail they don't want to reveal themselves to be on.

She watched quietly, interested in where this was heading -🦴

Juliet's usually confident manner falls apart in what seems like seconds.

"Well, uh, you see- Romeo's dad- not Lord Capulet, but W-"

"Jules!" her boyfriend whisper-shouts. "You're rambling."

"Is it not working?"

"Not in the slightest."

Well ain't that interesting. Why wait for them, miss- mister- misster? -🥞

"Miss is fine. And... I'm not entirely sure. I just knew that they'd help me."

Juliet nods, a little too enthusiastic for someone who doesn't know what they're getting into. "We will! Romeo, maybe that's why we were summoned, someone in this world needs help!"

When she turns to look at her friends, Joan and Homer are just staring in confusion, and Juliet seems to process that she'd said something wrong.

"Summoned?" Asks Homer quietly.

*Snorts, quietly amused by the bone flower child.* -🥞

Nico's eyes look in Romeo's direction, but still remain unfocused.

"Apologies, but I do not fare well with names. I refer to you," Hestia says, pointing in turn at Juliet, Romeo, Homer, and Joan. "I've been waiting for you ever since I was alive."

She yawned, and leaned against Remus, still smiling -🦴

Remus ruffles your hair with its free hand.

"Wait, so what's this whole thing about four of us?" Asks Romeo from the couch, having previously been conversing with the other students. "You mentioned an undead one that isn't part of whatever that other group is, is that me?"

*ariadne nods*

Yes, that could work. I imagine the easiest way to go about it would perhaps be to enchant clothing with some sort of warming spell to keep the wearer from feeling the cold. Like how my glamor stone is enchanted to make me appear human. I suppose you could also use some sort of spell to make me more warm blooded but I’m not sure how plausible that would be. I’m admittedly not very well versed in magic.

Val thinks for a moment, then nods back at you. "Yeah, let me just try to remember- I know the very last thing I cast before winding up at Matthessy was a fire spell, but I don't think you'd want to be lit on fire, so I'll have to think on that one."

"might have known, the four might have known to. And I really haven't been alive long, even in human terms. Maybe a month at most? I've learned quickly though! Especially because Papa is amazing! They even taught me the adult word fuck!" She grinned, "papas amazing. Did you know that?" -🦴

Nico's eyes blink a couple times, as if the person speaking through him has no idea how to respond.

"...Erato always is an interesting one. But yes, they do seem to make a good parent, vocabulary aside."

She shrugged, "I dunno, I might have but..my memory is fuzzy and...I don't think I've actually...been alive for very long" -🦴

"You might have what? In comparison to everything, of course you haven't been alive long."

She tilted her head, "know what? That's very vague and a lot has been happening" -🦴

"That's true, I apologize. But these ones... the Undead, the Marked, the Transported, and the Ordinary, I have been waiting on them for a long time. It was long ago the Fates told me that they'd come, but never exactly what they would accomplish."

She noticed and turned to stare at Nico in confusion..though it looked a bit too much like a predator stalking prey -🦴

"There's so much more than just Prisms here," Hestia breathes. "Do you four... know?"

*ariadne’s expression turns to one of dread*

Does that mean we’ll have to search for her outside? Cause I don’t know if I can do that. Even in my humanoid form, I’m really sensitive to cold weather. I’d rather not become a popsicle.

Hestia nods with Nico's head. "We don't have a lot of gods to regulate here, so the weather is... erratic."

"I can try to make it a bit warmer," Val perks up. "I might know some spells, if I can get myself to remember."

She nodded, "pap can be scary. It's so cool! I wanna be like them!" -🦴

Homer grins and stands up to his full height again. "Yeah, I guess it is kinda cool."

Nico's head turns towards Homer as he speaks, and Hestia seems to analyze him through Nico's bespectacled eyes.
