Dear, oh dear!

It really has been a long while since our last chat, hasn’t it, my loves? Do forgive me, darlings, I’ve become so incredibly busy that I haven’t even the time to paint my own nails. Running a household such as my own is no easy task, you know! Having said that, I have every and all intentions to get right back on track and catch up with all of your questions as soon as possible.

Oh, my. I must say that you do seem very lovely, dear, but if your interest in Snufkin is of a romantic nature then I’m sorry to inform you that he is very much uninterested in girls, or boys, or anyone else for that matter. However, I’m sure you would get along very well nonetheless, should you ever meet; in fact, you may even become good friends.And if you do meet him someday soon, please give him my love! It has been quite a while since I’ve seen my darling son and I miss him dearly. ♥

but if you and joxter aren't going to hibernate, doesn't that mean you can celebrate christmas? (or another holiday) or do you just not do any winter holiday at all?

My, my, aren’t you a curious little bug. I could tell you about our special private holiday-for-two plans but that would ruin the surprise, wouldn’t it?

So december is just around the corner! What are you, joxter and the children are planning on doing within the month' leading up to christmas?. The Kids must be excited for it!.

Hmm, no, they’re not as excited as you might think. My family doesn’t normally partake in any winter celebration because we’d much rather spend this season sleeping.

My children have spent the last month with their grandmother but they’ll return to me soon enough, and once all my little darlings are home safe, we’ll have a grand pre-hibernation feast and afterwards I’ll read them a nice bedtime story and tuck them all in for their long winter sleep.As for myself, I was never able to sleep long enough to hibernate, not even as a small child, so I’ll be taking the time to relax and make sure our home stays warm, cozy, and safe from Grokes and other such unpleasant wintery visitors.

It is rather somber and lonely when the children are all asleep but fortunately Mr. Joxter has been having trouble staying asleep during the last few winters and he may forgo hibernating altogether this year. We'll have plenty of provisions as well as each other’s company to keep us warm and happy until spring, so perhaps this winter won’t be so lonely after all. ♥

Darling can I ask why nearly every image of animals you have, are ones of them breeding?

Heehee, of course you can! There’s a certain belief around these parts according to which mating animals bring good luck in the matters of love, and decorating the house with such images has been a tradition in my family for many a generations.

I happen to have quite a few paintings and other decorations and trinkets of this nature throughout my home but I must admit that, traditions and beliefs aside,

Doing anything special for Halloween?

Certainly! I’m just about to finish sewing costumes for all my children and once those are done, I will see my kiddies off as they're going to spend the holiday and the following month with their grandmother, who lives at the far side of the kingdom. It’s been quite a while since my mother has seen all her little grandchildren and she absolutely demands to have them over for a long visit, bless her.I will miss them of course, but I have plenty of things to do while they’re gone so don’t you worry, I won’t be too sad!

As for my own holiday plans, Daddy Jones is throwing a splendid masquerade for the occasion and obviously I have every intention of attending. I’m thinking of dressing up as a witch this year, perhaps with Mr. Joxter as my cute little black cat.

I may have to sweet talk him into it, though. ♥

Did Snufkin ever fall in Love ? I love him...

I suppose so, dear, but I'm sorry to say that the kind of love he feels might be different than the love you feel for him.

To my knowledge, my darling Snufkin has never been involved in any sort of romantic or sexual love; instead, he is deeply infatuated with forests, valleys, mountains, unpaved roads and wild seas, and Moominvalley is perhaps his greatest love of all.

He has his share of friends and he cares for them dearly, but it seems that not a single person in the world can bring him joy the way the great outdoors does.

I don’t pretend to understand it, but Snufkin is happy the way he is and that’s all that really matters. ♥

Of course, taking care of one's personal hygiene and having a healthy sense for fashion doesn't hurt, and you wouldn't believe the wonders sex could do to one's skin... but those are merely bonuses. ♥

Just the fact that the best insult they can come up with is “ur fat” speaks so much about how self conscious they are about their own self image. I mean damn. “ur fat”? really? That is THE BEST you can come up with?

Oh dear, I can assure you that a simple comment like that is quite far from being an insult, and if it was in fact intended to be offensive, it was a very sorry attempt indeed! They might as well inform me that the sky is blue!

I am fat, beautiful, and desirable, and I take great pride in that. ♥
