I actually find this information REALLY HELPFUL when I visit someone else’s gallery and like their OCs. Not everyone is comfortable with fanart and few artists post whether or not they are.

(2) season should give you a pretty good idea of where its value lies with Pennsylvanians. PA is also a state of sports fanatics wh oare violently proud of there teams and state(The is a court house under Eagles Stadium due to the ammount of fights Eagles fans get into). Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the cult like following of Puxatony Phil. Again, I love your blog and your characters, and these are merely suggestions, not insults.

This was a lot of fun, I've never combined watercolor and digital before and I really like the result!

Louisiana- have you ever tried any voodoo?

Louisiana: Actually, voodoo’s a religion very different from that stuff portrayed in movies. Louisiana voodoo parallels Catholicism in some ways, including a single God and figures similar to St. Peter. 

I love to make Gris Gris and voodoo dolls for the other states so that their spirits can be happy as well, I’ve made at least one for each and several for each of my southern brothers and sisters (I know we’re not really related but they’re my family)

Florida: Good thing we’re family cuz seriously, why’s my hair on it?

Louisiana: I needed to bind your spirit to it somehow…

Florida: … Use a picture next time.

((So yeah, Louisiana was looking much different (and much more white) than I envisioned her, so she went through a major design change. I like this result much better though, and she looks much more like I originally pictured her ^u^ thanks for the ask, I’ve been wanting to address voodoo for a while!))

Basically, I’ll be doing drawings in the style of ask-the-states! I can draw fanart from:

Supernatural

Sherlock

Elementary

Homestuck

And many more as long as I’m provided with a ref!

I will also be drawing any state that you want (ask me about states that I haven’t introduced yet, as I may still have their design in my head). Lastly, I will be drawing people in my ask-the-states style. You can send me a reference photo of yourself or a friend (remember, this is only for people comfortable with sending me a photo of them. The photo will be deleted once the drawing is complete unless I am told otherwise) and I will draw them chibi-form.
