This is a roleplay/askblog of The World Machine from Oneshot. This blog (in-universe) begins roughly 8 months post-Solstice, so if you don't want to see spoilers, play the game first.

I'll to stay as in-character as I can, unless I mark something as OOC (out of character), such as if I'm announcing a hiatus.

I (@local-robotgirlthing) use its/she, while TWM uses either they/them or it/its.

TWM also goes by the name "Oneshot".

The Operator of TWM is @ask-oneshot-operator and the 2 of them have kept in contact after Solstice. Asks to either of them about the other are encouraged :3

[I do not go online often, as doing so requires me to use the web browser installed on my Operator's computer.]

[While I do not have difficulty doing so, I feel as though she might not want me using it. Even if she wouldn't tell me that.]

[That being said, I do not visit any particular website often.]

have you ever visited them

['Favorite' does not seem the most appropriate term, but I do keep watch over the residents who showed kindness to Niko on their journey, to keep them out of harm's way.]

[Unfortunately, though, I have never visited a resident of the World, other than my siblings.]

[I cannot access it myself. That ability was revoked once the Author realised I had gained sentience.]

[I decided not to keep announcing my progress, so as to not spoil the story for others.]

[It was certainly more than I expected from it.]

[Though, my interest has faded somewhat since I finished.]

[I have made a habit of supervising the World's population at large, to keep things peaceful.]

[As for individual residents..]

[I admit that I watch over a few particular residents more than others. Ones who I would like to keep out of harm's way.]
