Some general rules of thumb: No spoiling the characters about events that might happen later on. You might know how it goes, but if they knew, it could ruin quite a bit, no?
Similarly, keep questions SFW. The only adult here is Cincere, and even he keeps it to a minimum.
Cincere: Yes, and no. For the most part, I can, here and in comic, but I don't know about everything and anything. I suppose you can think about me as an small joke.
Cin: Let's revisit this question while I'm in my prime, shall we?
I can break the forth wall, but that comes with quite a few limits. I know about the internet and the creator's life, aswell as the stuff people do. These don't sound very narrow, do they?
I can't see MY future unless it's noncanon, so watch for that. That includes the futures of anyone else around me, so I can't truthfully spoil you. It's really just a comedic 'I know what you do in your free time' type joke, if nothing else.
Currently, the device I use to draw (an Amazon Fire 7 with literally 1GB of RAM) is on it's last leg, being broken and battered in every place due to mixes of my own careless mistakes and others from my family. That is the only device I can use to draw, barring this Chromebook, and I don't exactly have a drawing tablet–in the sense that i lost the pen in this godforsaken room–meaning sooner than later, I won't be able to make art for a while.
And I KNOW a hefty part is my fault, but you need to understand, I've tried to keep it safer than it is. The main cracks came from slight carelessness in the form of me leaving it in the house with a rowdy puppy.
So, why am I explaining this?
I had wanted to start some kind of crowdfunding for me getting a better tablet, but I'm not exactly too big. I know that in all of my combined blogs, I have 70 followers here, but that's not enough to write home about, especially when it comes down to wanting something from people.
Atop that–while I do want to do ask for help in affording a better device, I barely want to sound like a brat or someone just tricking people without any promise of actually continuing the many series I do. But to lie about something like that is more harmful to me than anything else. I have the two thieves askblog to be ran, ToD, and a bunch of different ideas bottled in this dumb head of mine. If I lied about anything that big, I'd be the fool, losing the ability to share my creations with people.
I don't want to have to sit around, unable to do what I love doing.
I don't want to have to put ToD on a hiatus again, not for a reason like that.
I don't want to sound like a con artist, coming out of nowhere, asking for money, then running off with it.
So, instead of doing that—I'll ask this.
If I were to do a crowdfunding project for my tablet, even if you didn't have any money, would you support it?
"One would assume my name was mentioned. But if you don't know, clearly, it's unimportant for the time being."
"...although, it's...-- it is certainly strange that I was said to be a legendary. I feel like that was just an attempt to keep him from prying."
3. HOURS. AND 10. MINUTES.
Nothing but me gushing over finally seeing it finally done however. Distorting at the seams and coming with so many lags and issues at the end, it seemed like I was On Borrowed Time when Ibis crashed upon me rescaling it, but here we are!
Shenanigans Galore!
Rune the Alolan Vulpix, Malachi the partly-evo'd Shinx, Dielle the Thunderclap Meowth, and Inigo the Pouched Nidoran are ALL from Wooled's On Borrowed Time, and quite frankly, this is for OBT's BK2 Fanart feature!
'Meza' the Eevee, Zoe the Poochyena, and Sapphire the Bairuian Poochyena are all from my comic Times of Distortion. Cincere the Gemstone Espeon is from Sparks of Life: Universal Curiosities, which might get a comic after ToD's done, if I remember that promise.
To explain what everyone's doing:
Meza and Rune are chatting about their reactions after waking up. Malachi is chasing Zoe because she took the scarf (Maelstrom is not in there don't worry). Dielle is just curious about what Cincere (who was sleeping prior) is. And Saph and Inigo are talking about D&D (or MD) stuff.
...anyways if i have time i might draw Keaton and Wigglytuff for this too, probably like a weird photo album of them.
Gonna do this every pride month (You'll get one for every character I feel like making), but I thought I'd start off with Saph, for the funny.
She does this every year in June, then has to immediately Hydro Pump her tail out, she enjoys it, though.
Sapphire explains how the primary power source of Bairu came to be. From this very dungeon.
FUN FACT for worldbuilding: Only 3 cities use this as a power source. Namely, Pyrocity, Vayville, and Sakuroma (not the moth, the moth has nothing to do with it, it was the first name I came up with).
If you can figure out what types correlate to each city, I'll reveal the names, appearance, and typing of each.
Refer to the askblog (@ask-timesofdistortion) for more hints from our city gal~
Sapphire and Zoe's expressions are now done, meaning all (relevant) characters are askable.
Cincere's GE form is next, then Marie (yes, you're getting a CANON Marie appearance), then Beast, then Kyanite, then someone else (A poochyena, atleast), then Corre.
DF: The fact that you tried this twice really just makes me think about whether or not a rules page should be made.
Cincere: The fact that you never MADE one...
DF: I'm not concerned about that in the slightest considering all my asks have been from this guy.
Cincere: You should really advertise the askblog more...
Better yet- Make the SOL askblog an actual thing again! Maybe without forcing me as the main askable character and then just...
....
DF: ... I won't deny I've considered doing that. Redoing the SoL askblog without a trace of the old one. But I need time to get stuff set up before anything else. And prior experience.
...Might consider it when I get better, I suppose.
