Mettaton kept hearing Gaster speak. He seems worried, scared, terrified. Perhaps he shouldnāt have asked if he was an amalgamate or not...Now that he thought about it, it was rude... Amalgamates were incapable of processing thoughts since most of them were a mass of monsters merged into one... There were too many minds going at once to give full functioning sentences compared to Gaster.
āBut... you donāt talk like them.. Youāre talking to me like... uhmn... my monster friends would..ā He said as he approached Gaster with a hug, maybe itād calm him down.. maybe not, hugs usually calmed Alphys when she would break out into fits of anxiety, he seemed to be the same case.
He pulled back while looking at Gaster āAh! A lot of documents that Alphys had down here...... And visiting Sansā n Papyrusā home.... There were projects that Sans had under their home... I keep seeing a lot of things about you... but never.. well your face.ā He smiled calmly as he looked at Gaster āIāve seen another you before, I think, one with a bowtie, and passionate about science.. He left the moment I began asking...ā His shoulders slouched, maybe it was a trend between Gasters to warp in and out of dimensions.. Would he see this one again? Or the others?
