"Remember to always have the biggest smile on your face, because things are getting better! I promise!" (A little message from the mun, who lost his wig's curl and can't really cosplay or answer asks until he gets a new one -.-) I hope all my wonderful followers are well, and if not, then trust me- things will get better!! Never lose hope!~

Italian Table Manners
* Wait to sit down until the hostess has been seated; then you may follow. Follow her lead to determine when to eat. Either the hostess will instruct the guests to begin or she will just begin to eat, signaling that you can all start.
* Observe Continental European table manners. The knife should be held in the right hand and the fork in the left at all times (e.g. holding your fork and using your knife USA-style will not necessarily be taken as an offense, but it will be noticed!). No pre-cutting of meat, no use of hands even for pizza or French fries unless it is VERY casual.Â
*Â Avoid putting your elbows on the table while eating. Keep your hands above the table during a meal and do NOT rest them in your lap (as is customary in USA).
* Use your fork and knife to eat all foods, including fruit and cheese. Using your fingers to eat is considered rude in most situations. It is not uncommon for a whole piece of fruit to be eaten with a fork and knife in Italy, but again, it may depend on location, setting, age, and levels of familiarity. Observe and do what the others are doing.Â
*Â Put your bread on the tablecloth beside your plate at casual dinners. Only formal dinners have a specific bread plate as part of the table setting.
* Avoid bumping into the people sitting next to you with your elbows. Try to keep your elbows tucked in close to your body while eating.
* Place knife and fork together diagonally across your plate to indicate that you are finished, and that your plate can be removed.
*Â Wait until the hostess leaves the table at the end of a meal to leave the table yourself.Â
* Wine almost always a part of an Italian meal. Expect your wine to be topped off throughout the meal. If you don’t want any more wine, just stop drinking it after it has been topped off and leave the glass full.
* It’s good manners to bring a bottle of nice wine, other quality alcohol and/or fresh flowers for the hostess if you are invited to a formal dinner party at somebody’s home. Partly unwrap the flowers before handing them over. Do not arrive late when you have been invited to dinner at someone’s house.
* Traditional Italian starters include pasta and risotto. These dishes are best served immediately after being prepared. The hostess will usually begin preparing the starter in anticipation of your arrival so be on time.Â
In Italy manners are really important. For example in school, you have to stand up when the teacher comes in and again when goes out. You have to ask the permission to go to the toilet, you can’t eat unless during the break which last 10mins, you can’t have your phone with you in the classroom, you can’t burp or if you have to cough you have to cover your mouth if you don’t want to be judged rude both by your colleague and teachers, you have to follow proper hygiene standards and you can’t wear shorts or skirts, flip flops, tight clothes or transparent clothes (both male and female) during school hours. Not to mention the teachers are really strict!
Before studying there I had an idea of Italy to be super easygoing… For some things it’s correct but for others not at all!!!

Great work. It looks beautiful!
In 2005, a group of artists in Italy built a giant 200-foot-long plushie rabbit in the countryside, and just left it there. It’s been there ever since.Â
