Half week me and my mum have been cleaning out the place. We have this really big closet just full of shit and junk all over the apartment in general, so taking it all out to be sorted and thrown out I can hardly move for trash. Mum’s done the brunt of the work because she actually manages to get up in the morning, but it’s been taking up a lot of time and energy, not giving me much left to draw properly. But I needed to get something out of my system, so I did this quicky thing.
"Sleepy time Stream" tonight, me thinks
Well it’ll be night for me. No exact time for when I’ll start, but I’m thinking of Starting around 20:00-22:00, so 7-9pm GMT or 2-4pm EDT, if I’ve understood things right. I have no real plans so far with what I’ll be drawing. I’m kind of wanting to draw on some commissions, perhaps adoptables (since I’ve been planning to get into that) or just some personal stuff but if I can’t decide I’m up for suggestions here or later on in the stream chat. Only thing that will keep me from it would be sudden severe illness, hand fatigue (which Ive been good with stretches of late so don’t think that’ll happen) or me actually crashsing since I’ve yet to sleep and don’t exactly plan to since I need to get shit done today. But got energy drinks and will go to the shops for nummies later today so should be good for a few hours at least xD

{So I’m once again trying out new stuff. life chilli’s wing, it’s more like flutterbat’s wings cause I cannot draw batwings for horsepoo. Also testing out the greyscale thingy cause why not?8D But it looks a bit odd in some places... oh well, practise and learn I quess}

{Also I’m a bit “concerned” about Ashbuns colour, is rather dark... but maybe that’s just cause everything ells is so freaking bright around him?XD oh well, I do like that colour on him. So I think I’ll stick with it}
You would think that one get used to this repeated occurrence.... And considering how often this happens it has started to become the norm. jet it still surprises me every time....

Vanilla here, as... interesting as my sister's questions have been they have brought up something I have become qurious about... why Do changelings have holes in there legs?
I have absolutely no idea. We just do.
((Topaz here for this one! Actually, I’ve got several theories, the biggest problem is that I only have Idol to study and… well. Whatever the holes are, they’re very sensitive and although he can touch them, for a pony or something he isn’t directly controlling to do so, it’s a combination of extremely disconcerting and, in my opinion, ticklish.
Anyways! Theories! As evidenced by his lack of interest in things like breathing when he’s underwater, I believe he may have spiracles in the holes, which assists him if he can’t clear his mouth. A sort of redundant system to keep him alive, maybe. For all intents and purposes, it seems when he seals himself in jelly in one of his cocoons, he ‘breathes’ just fine. Not sure how to explain that yet, but working on it.
The other idea is that they act like filters for emotion. He’s tried to explain that pulling in emotion happens passively and actively, and I think the passive filters are those holes, whereas active draining is mostly in the head; through horn and mouth mostly. Passive seems enough to sustain him in crowds and keep up his disguise, but that’s about it. A good deep breath while ‘drawing’ at those emotions is better, but he needs time to do it and to be nearby. I think if he were walking through a crowd of ponies on say, hearts and hooves day, he’d get enough passively to last much longer.
But, those are just theories, and without some means of tracking emotional energy, I’m a little lost. They could be a means of distributing weight, emotional sensory organs, or some crazy infection that they get while they’re young that leaves sensitive scars. Without a few dozen more to study, and… well, one or two to dissect, I can’t really be sure. Frankly, it’s a little hard to work with Idol because he knows so little about himself, so we’re sort of just… blindly wandering.
Still, he’s a friend, and I want to see him succeed and be the best pony he can be, and if all I ever do is compile a document of what he is, where he’s going, and what he does to get there, well, that’s fantastic too. It’ll be fantastic to have some proof that, for as weird as he is, we can overcome those differences and build better futures for pony and changeling.))
If you stick you cheese-leg on soap and then blow in a hole how big of a bubble can you make?
Results are inconclusive. Topaz keeps laughing and making the bubble pop before we can measure it.

Topaz here! No. He cannot. I would like to take this time to thank you, because the sight of Idol Hooves putting his mouth to a hole in his legs and blowing a raspberry will probably keep me laughing for the rest of my life.
I won a kazoo at a fair once, it was fun blowing! My sister Chili took it the day after and stomped on it a lot, dumped lamp oil over it and set it on fire, grumbling something about it being a ‘Tartarus damned pain’... it made weird sounds after that... and tasted funnier.
Does your cheese-leg-holes get bubbles in them when you go into water? if they do you could suck on them to stay under longer!
Unfortunately, it seems that my leg holes are not for that purpose. I believe that I am heavier than my size would dictate if I were a pony with these extra holes, but lighter than my unicorn form would imply.
I also see no reason to remain under water longer than absolutely necessary.

Topaz here. Ahhhh ha, that’s…cute, perhaps you should talk with your father about this puppies business. Idol and I are only friends. Researcher and research-ee There is no, ah… bump-bumping. But I’m going to hide this little memo from him, that’d only be awkward. Mating practices aren’t a topic for young ponies.
