Her special talent is optimism- she can always find a way to turn a bad situation into something positive. Make no mistake, though, she's had her fair share of tears,and knows when it's better to make the silver lining rather than just see it.
Silv is about as cheerful as can be, but expresses herself in a soft-spoken manner.
Fun fact! Her cutiemark is based on the g3 Silver Lining, who was a toy only and never had a TV appearance
Been struggling to maintain my happiness, optimism and peace by doing all my coping mechanisms: avoiding the news, focusing on my sphere of influence and creating happy art.

I wanted to try my hand at making a full cast of characters with distinct and unique designs, and what better way to practice than to make my own generation of ponies?
I went with the classic G4 style 2-of-each-kind cast, but exclusively repurposed characters from G1 and G3! I always love when older characters are brought back and redesigned for new generations so this was really fun to do.
characters in order of left to right, top to bottom: toola roola, anchors away, pumpkin tart, night glider, silver lining, and hip hop.
I didn't love the careers/aspirations of the G5 ponies (cop, princess, princess, ANOTHER cop, smoothie maker? izzy is good I love a crafter) so I wanted to give them all unique and interesting careers and dreams.
toola roola is an artist who often works on canvas and paper but has an ambition to become a street artist/mural painter someday! she's overly modest about her work, and struggles to accept compliments.
anchors away is a ship's captain, ensuring the safety of the waters around her home. she's kind of a conservationist/adventurer. she can be a bit too solitary, needing to be reminded of the value of company.
pumpkin tart is of course a baker, specialising in savoury snacks! she loves scary movies and campfire stories. she can take criticism a bit hard when it comes to her baking, and often overworks herself.
night glider is an earth pony who yearns to see the stars up close, with a fascination for astronomy and alien sightings. they're scatterbrained, often having their head in the clouds!
silver lining is an actress and singer, starring in quite a few movies. she has a love for weirder media, but doesn't want to "ruin" her reputation. she craves a normal life, wanting to escape her fame.
hip hop is a dancer and rollerskating champion. she's rambunctious and funny, getting along easily with other ponies, but flounders and gets nervous when she has to have a serious conversation.
