I hate that I only ever post when I need help, but if anyone still follows this account- I really, really need help right now.

I'm effectively stranded in Minnesota right now, trying my best to help with a severe family emergency. My brother disappeared from Jacksonville, FL about a month ago and turned up in an ER in Minneapolis about three weeks ago. There's foul play involved, and we're trying to get him moved safely to a residential facility that can better help him recover from what he's been through. I haven't been able to work for almost a month now, and just today officially emptied my bank account getting a hotel to stay in for the next two days.

I'm gonna try getting back into art enough to do some emergency commissions soon here, but until then- any little bit helps. Thank you 🙏

I'm going to get to see my partners on Friday- one I've been apart from for 8 months, and the other I haven't seen in over a year. They're both coming to Hawaii and then we're all going home together in about two weeks. So basically what I'm saying is I'm about to be crying SO much

Some things are coming back to me. My art, my drive, my... Self. Still not 100% pieced back together, but getting there.

I'm getting ready to leave Hawaii. It'll have been a full year by the time I leave; a full, heavy year. It feels like a dream. I left so abruptly to come here with no time for preparations, and now I'm not sure how to prepare to go back. Everything's so different, and going to continue to be so. I think I'm a little bit of a different person now, but also even more me than I previously knew.

I'm a sailing instructor now. I never even knew I had an interest in sailing until I was kind of forced to do it. Now it's like, shaping my whole life? I can only teach at a beginner level, as I am pretty beginner level myself, but I've already won races against people far more experienced than me so I think I have some idea what I'm doing. And it's a lot of fun. Hit me up if you're ever on the big island and I'll teach you too ⛵

So funny story- the ocean ate my phone a few days ago. I'm using a back up at the moment and found out it had a stylus, and so decided to try drawing with it. MediBang Paint works pretty well as far as phone apps go! Except if your phone unlocks in your pocket and deletes two hours of work T_T I'm too sad to finish this doodle but I think I'll mess with the app some more and see what else I can come up with.

Hey there! My name's Diggory(oh, like the Harry Potter character, Cedric Diggory?)[no], and this blog is here for me to explore my new fursona Cedrus(Cedrus, Diggory?)[still no] as well as excersize my art a little along the way. Given that I am legitimately stranded on an island in the Pacific ocean right now, the art mediums available to me at the moment are a little limited, so some of these illustrations are going to be highly experimental. Which is a good thing! I'm hoping to use this as a motivator to get back into drawing like I used to, and maybe try doing commissions again in the future. As of right now commissions are CLOSED, but I may be open to sketch requests every now and then.
