Any fights?

John has always been a great boy, a real joy to have around the house.  I noticed that lately he's been acting a little evasive, but I was sure he just wanted me to work harder to try and find him!  Hide and seek has always been one of his favorite games.

Not long ago I noticed a bathtub outside his room blocking the door.  I could have easily moved it, and John knows that, but maybe it was a sign that he wants to be left alone?

I try to be pretty active in John's life, but maybe he feels like I'm intruding.  He's been growing up so fast lately, I have barely had time to keep up!  Maybe it's time that I give him a little space, I think he's ready to become his own man now.

Although I am very proud of my son, he can be absent minded sometimes.  You know once Albert Einstein forgot to wear pants to work.  Is John actually Albert Einstein? Stranger things have happened!  In any case the answer to your question is YES I am the father of THE pantsless John.

Here is a picture for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about.  Yes that is me in the background giving a small can of barbasol to some alternate timeline future Johns.

I mean so what if John goes around pantsless sometimes?  I'm not wearing any pants right now myself!  Like father like son I guess.

Droog! Good to hear from you again.

I saw the recipe and of course I was eager to go home and try it myself.  I must say, it is not bad, not bad at all.  However there are slight improvements that could be made here and there in the recipe.  I find Betty Crocker mixes to be quite reliable myself.

I’m sorry for the delay but the holidays are always a very busy time for us.  Also I was just outside staring at a crater for a couple weeks.  Let me just check the status of the blog.

The Striders certainly are an interesting, if not eccentric bunch!  The boy, D. Strider if quite the intelligent fellow.  From what I gather some of his mannerisms are pretty strange but there is a rhyme and reason to it all.  The smartest of people always are a bit off and I am altogether glad that my daughter keeps company with such a high-functioning bunch.  As for DS's brother, he is quite the entrepreneur!  I hear he's behind that movie that is supposed to be really popular, and that it originated with some sort of story he wrote.  His sense of humor is legendary even in my household and I have no doubt that my own father would have gotten along famously with him.

As for you RL. YES RL, your ruse is paper thin as always.  You really ought to stay out of your mother's liquor cabinet.  I hear you two have an odd sort of relationship that I couldn't hope to understand but I can't imagine why your mother would leave alcohol out for you to indulge it.  I will reward your persistence though with my opinion.

 Your mother is a remarkable lady.  I have heard tales of her achievements and I am astounded at the sheer scale of what she has accomplished.  She is a fine specimen of womanhood and I find her fashion sense in particular to be quite agreeable.  For some odd reason she reminds me of my mother.  It is no surprise that such a brilliant woman is responsible for a smart young lass such as yourself.  I understand you are a wizard with a computer and I must respect your immense potential, even if you do choose to drink yourself into a continual stupor.

Dual pistols and a wink?  I think you must be that Jake English that Jane occasionally mentions.  That and it says so right above your question.

Jane seems to be doing quite well.  She's been particularly excited lately about a new piece of technology being released by Crockercorp so I imagine dealing with that has been taking up most of her time.

I realize Jane is old enough now to make her own decisions, and I will respect her choices, but I hope you know Mr. English: I've got my eye on you.

I'm so glad that you asked! I love talking about my pipes.

Now I have an extensive collection of pipes, but the two that see the most use are these two, one of which you have probably seen me with before.

As for the tobacco I smoke, if I'm in a jam I go to the local drugstore and pick up a spot of Captain Black White pipe tobacco.  However, I prefer to smoke a blend that I obtain locally from a smokeshop that blends its own tobacco.  My favorite is the English Oriental blend, but I will smoke the Coyote on special occasions.

 Coyote is a very serious blend and is not for everyday smoking, even for a pipe fan such as myself.
