What does it mean to be a "dark" Append?

Hello, mun here deciding to answer this instead of Dark because he doesn’t like to give very long answers.

There are many different Appends; For Miku you have Append versions Sweet, Dark, Soft, Light, Vivid, and Solid.A song using all her Appends singing together (this is when I first heard her Append) is this one. Dark has a lower voice than all the other Appends and can be used for songs in lower pitch or if you wanna give it a slightly creepier tone you can use the Append ‘Dark’ and example of Miku’s Dark Append voice can be heard alone here. In all honesty my favorite Appends are Sweet and Dark because I like cute and dark things a lot.

Okay Rin and Len; Rin has Sweet, Warm, and Power, while Len has Cold, Serious, and Power. They don’t have either of each other’s Appends besides Power, and neither of them have Dark. Some people like to make up Appends, others like to make Appends that they don’t have that some others don’t. Like there is a Sweet Append Len and then I have a Dark based on my own headcanons.

So just to put it straight, Len and Rin Append Dark do not exist, this is not an official character ask blog for Len Append Dark.

Dark’s answer would probably be just “I’m creepy, what else is there?”Anyways, I’ll get to answering some questions by using art. Hope that answered for some of you people don’t really understand some stuff about Appends or were getting confused if Dark was an official Append for Rin and Len.
