What is a secret that no one knows, or would be surprised to hear?

Okay, I have one. A couple years ago I went to visit my old high school friends on my vacation from work. We spent the whole week acting like teenagers again, eating way too much pizza and ogling over hot guys (and girls, in my case) in movies. We went to a club on my second to last night there and had, oh, a bit too much to drink. One of my friends suggested we go to a tattoo parlor and “get something pierced”. She was always the one giving out dares when we were in school. So…we went. I kept saying I couldn’t get anything visible pierced because of my job. Somehow I left there with my nose pierced. I woke up the next morning with a throbbing, red nose and was horrified to see what I had done. My friends wouldn’t stop laughing at me and I was freaking out. I quickly took the little ring out, and I tell you, that HURT. Even touching my nose hurt. I had hoped it wouldn’t be noticeable when I went back to work. It wasn’t, thankfully.

And that’s the story of me having my nose pierced for less than 24 hours!

Did you have a job when you were in high school?

I worked concessions at a movie theater. I actually loved it. I got to see free movies and take my friends, plus we got free popcorn :) I went home smelling like popcorn every day - that got old! *laughs* But the job was fun.

Babies in Camanda's future? Casey should carry. You know there's a process where you don't need to sperm to fertilize the egg? It's two eggs but the baby will 100% be a girl. You and Rollins baby will be the cutest!!! Thoughts? Amanda can you imagine Casey with a baby bump?! Too cute!!

thanks for the interesting ask! You are so sweet :) As much as we would love a baby, we have decided that our jobs just don’t allow us the time we would need for a baby. We wouldn’t want to have to put our baby in daycare every day of the week; we would want to be able to be there for his or her development and or jobs just don’t allow that.

That’s why we decided to adopt an older child a couple years after we get married. Many of them are overlooked and need good, stable homes and lots of love - we can provide that.

However, if something changes in the future and does make us change our minds, Amanda has already said she wants to carry the baby, and I’m okay with that decision.

We will be good parents, baby. There is a kid out there who is waiting for us, that will make our family complete when the time is right. I know that in my heart.

I know we will most likely be good parents but I think it’s natural for people to have doubts about their abilities. I know how much you want a boy, and I think that would be perfect :)

The age we are thinking of is perfect for a boy, around 10 or 11. He would love to have a cop for a mom, and another mom who has a motorcycle and loves sports.
