Post Duality Round 3 / Event 4
Azalea was wounded by Satu’s brother and tossed from the bridge. She managed to crawl back to the Castila City shore, where Sean found her bleeding to death. After she managed to be reunited with her Pokemon and patched up from her deep stab wound, she has been laying low.
Gideon found Arya at the bridge and brought her to his home. He spent the next month on several rather secret “surveying trips” in the South.
OCC: Duality, Look who is back and totally not dead yet. But yeah, They need an update before the next round. Gideon certainly gotten more beefed up this last month too. humph.
Every raindrop that landed on top of him felt like another pound of weight added to his back. The ragged clock he had put together before the mission to the mountain wasn’t enough to protect him from the elements, and the rain only seemed to get worst since he finally returned to the city….
The fire.
The rain.
The blood. Her Blood.
Her anger at Dante. All these dreams burned inside her like a fever. Her eyes flicked opened to an unusual warmth. Sunlight. It felt like years since she last felt it. She tried to move, but her wound was still very sore. She winced and let herself sink down into what felt like a soft bed. A bed. A very nice one. She didn’t remember the last time she had a feather pillow.
Her eyes finally began to work and she saw a worried looking shape take form in front of her.
“Hey”, although no sound came from his lips, a faint smile forming as he took her hand gently. “Yohan” She tried to say. “He’s downstairs. Everyone is safe.” He replied. “You need to rest." She lifted her head as high as she could to see her surroundings. It was a rather simple looking room, with only a few boxes in one corner with a pan for washing, a desk, and a window over her with that warm light bathing her. She looked up at him confused, her wits slowly coming back to her. “Welcome to Castle Marker.” He replied before she could ask the question. “I use to live here before the war.” He let go of her reluctantly and walked a few steps across the room, the sound of liquid being poured into a cup ringing in her ears. Her hand slowly dared to go down her belly. Her torn shirt and dirty bandages had been cut away, with fresh ones covering her instead. “Thank you.” She whispered when he returned to her side. Their eyes felt like they locked for a long time. He wanted to tell her things like how he loved her and can’t believe he let this happened to her, but it wouldn’t of change anything. She would of fought anyway if he was there, and she could of died in his arms last night instead of another night. She took the cup and greedily began to drink the summer wine sweetened with honey in one sip.
"Is everyone ok?", Arya cleaned her mouth with the back of her hand after drinking the wine. “I couldn’t check it they were. Satu? Carr? Kobe?", Arya handed the cup back to him.
The room was freaking huge, if compared to any room she ever used to sleep in. Better stay silent about it. It’s never good to brag about how poor you think you might’ve been. It’s a shitty idea, actually.
He shrugged as he refilled her glass. “I haven’t heard any reports from Driftveil. Satu’s brothers sent a message saying they were ok though." He sat back down with his own glass, his mind racing with worries of what troubles their friends were suffering. “I see you have a new friend following you." Referring to the hell hound.
"It’s not a friend.", Arya taking a sip of her drink. “It just… Appeared at the brigde. Keeps following me around. If it is troubling you, please, feel free to kick it out."
She frowned as she called the hell hound “it". It’s entire existence was troubling.
The way she said her opinion of it made it more of a demand of him instead of a choice. She seemed shaken at the mention of him, so with a simple nod, Amelia jumped out her ball by the door and Trotted out to the stables below. Maybe the little one could get more information from Oliver then Gideon could get from Arya. He didn’t want to ask what happened on the bridge yet anyway. Lifting her spirits seemed like the best idea, she had a lot to be happy about, like not dying. “How does your wound feel? You’re such a little target, I was certain nothing would be able to hit you."
"Haha, yeah, they tried very hard to hit me this time. Can’t really move much. Still hurts a little."
His mouth continued to slant in worry as he saw her flinch. “Well is there anything else I can do for you? Have you talked to your sister yet?”
"Nah, i’m ok, thanks", Arya said. “But about Val… I haven’t seen her yet… It looks like I’ll have to have a talk with her soon.
“Oh? About what?” He remembered the sisters meeting and his companions uneasiness. And the impending date of the wedding that may or may not of been disrupted. Carr didn’t get himself killed, did he? Probably not, but would Arya be ok standing by her stinter in scratches and bandages? “Is it about you two…or did something happen?” He had to pry. He was her friend, more then that.
"It’s something important I have to talk to her about. You wouldn’t beleive who I found in the brigde. Our parents are dead right? I found the man who killed them."
"I see." They hasn’t talked much about her parents, but he knew her. He knew the story she would tell him of her fury, her grief. He sighed and looked at her eyes fiercely. And with all the compassion he could project he said one simple question.
"Did you kill him?"
"No", she looked away. “I didn’t. I was too weak when I saw him. The son of a bitch.", she balled her hands in fists, so strongly. Her fingers turned white. “I would if I could. I should leave as soon as I can. Find him and turn his skin into a cloak. It’ll warm me up in the cold days with his skin."
“He reached down and gently wrapped her tiny fierce fists in his larger warm hands. “Maybe.” He said trying to coax her to loosen her fingers. “But I though I could do I fine enough job of keeping you warm.” He went silent for a few moments after that, feeling the blood rush through her fingers, despite how much she lost, until he finally came to a decision. “I’m going to help you find him. If he’s a criminal, he should be brought to justice."
I AM GOING TO PAX EAST AND I’M GOING TO MEET APRIL AND COCO AND FROG AND WE WILL PARTY INTO THE NIGHT TO PROTOMEN AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME
BUT I WANNA COME TOOOOO
Crying with you bear...

I was in a nudie mood, so I drew Azalea~
Azalea would forever been a testament for the physical abuse of OCs. she has a history of abandonment and trust issues, lost all she loved, isolated, is faces the trials of being alone in a rape/murder attempt in the circus, then goes to war, more trauma, more scars, more abandonment, and now this war, where she finds no peace.
Let she still thinks she is beautiful, and her love for Sean is the healing force. *crack ship attack!*
anyway, NSFW scar chart slash pinup pose of Azalea.
