Been kinda questioning my gender identity for the past few months. Since moving, I’ve begun coming across (pretty cute) nonbinary folks, and I guess I just envy that they can... DO that???

I’ve found myself drawn to stuff like genderless kei fashion and increasingly exhausted by the whole masculinity thing. There’s something so profoundly alienating about being “Man Enough”, between GQ fashion articles and online dating and YouTube fitness channels promoting “Alpha” mentality with Fasting and seeing Incels, other flunkouts of the Man Game, turn to violence to reaffirm themselves.

IDK tho. I still clearly refer to myself in He/Him terms by default. Hell, I can't even get other enbies’ pronouns right sometimes. I guess I’m just scared of the possibility that I’m appropriating Nonbinary-ness from people with actual dysphoria to cope with my insecurities about my effete mannerisms and slim wrists, and my fears of dating cishet women and being held up to some basis of Maleness (is that sexist?)

Also, like, I’m dead broke. Not gonna be investing in makeup and women's/genderless clothes any time soon.
