The Dragon Prince | Season 4 IS INSANE!! (Analysis)

Highlights from this mildly spoilery review of the first four episdoes of season 4:

Callum is still his dorky self but is far more confident and has become dangerously “obsessed” with his magic.

His reaction to Rayla’s return is very “natural.”

Viren has undergone a dramatic shift in worldview after his death.

Rayla’s personality is more or less unchanged, but she seems “more calm” than before.

Terry seems to be mainly there for comic relief, until he does something absolutely “shocking” (which has to do with the scene we’ve decided to be the funeral of Ibis).

Claudia seems to be getting further and further from the possibility of redemption.

Aaravos is similar in many ways to Sauron.

I had a dream that there were like 5 new characters for sanders sides and they were like in a university lecture hall and Logan was at the front of the class with Thomas teaching them stuff about Thomas and emotions and very VERY basic feelings and they kept proposing things like “murder!” And he was like “NO.”

And I remember at least one of them. He was

- blue

- with purple, curly hair

- and pointed ears and teeth

- and a dark blue and purple flannel with a hoodie underneath it

- and pure black eyes

- and he was the permanent echoey Virgil voice and acted like Virgil except aggressive and somehow edgier

And his name was dark Virgil so I’m gonna call him Dirge-il and I’ll draw him later
