(From within the candy store though in that time, Kevin stood—giving out a sigh as he sternly glared at his hands.)

(The bell suddenly gave a chime. And the doors opened automatically as they often did. Kevin lifted his head in response to see who had entered, though upon noticing a familiar face slowly enter the store, his face softened.)

"..O-Oh! Hi, Grace!" (Kevin smiles awkwardly, adjusting his posture.)

"..hello, Kevin. How.. are you.. today?" (Grace asks.)

"..I'm—I'm fine. Just—" (Kevin stops, noticing Michaela.) "Uh.. hey—why's she with you?"

Michaela enters the store politely, trying not to look too curious, but failing a little considering how much of a sweet tooth she has. She stood next to Grace, looking up at Kevin with a smile.

" Hello mister—! "

But as he asked that, she suddenly went a little more joyful.

" Wooah, you remember me?? "

"..uh.. yeah. Kinda. I had you as a customer before, right?" (Kevin leans against the counter, his gaze occasionally flicking over to Grace who's watching kinda silently the whole time.)

She just keeps looking at him, not really shy at all.

"..mhm. I only just met her. But.. we've been talking for a while." (Grace smiles softly) "It is great to see you again though, Kevin. How.. are you doing today?"

"Uh—" (Kevin blinks, and gives an awkward smile, a small bit of red appearing on his cheeks) "I'm.. fine. Its just been kinda boring today. How've you been doing?"

"..I.. have been doing good. I went on a walk this morning and saw some birds on the towns wires. Did you—do anything today?"

"No. Not really. Just.. regular work stuff. It's—good to see you though."

"..it is good to see you too, Kevin."

(Grace's smile causes Kevin to look away a bit shyly)

The girl watches them talk, scared that she may interrupt while they do so. However, it does look like she's paying more attention to Kevin than Grace — and by "look like" it doesn't even need to be apparent, but Michaela is definitely on it.

" Oooo, the cashier is so onto madam Grace... he's even nervous around her! Should I help him?? He's definitely nice since she talked so good about him..! "

Michela thinks to herself, now just staring at the floor.
