Hello Homicipher Fans! This is my (OOC) intro post for this blog! If you're new, check out the AU Lore/Story, or scroll through the #lore important tag below!

If someone wants to talk to me, the owner of this blog, my name is Lemon! I use they/them pronouns, and I'm turning 20 in December. If you're asking me a question outside of the blog, specify that in your question!

Before You Ask:

Be respectful in the askbox! I am 19, so NSFW asks are ok if you're an adult, but nothing too graphic (no heavy gore, no nsfw images, but flirting with characters and making sexual remarks/comments are fine. The characters will snap back though if they don't like it)

All characters available for asks are adults. Every Homicipher character included will be an adult.

If no name is listed in the post, assume it's from Adami Adashino (but I'll try to remember to add AA for her!)

Anything that is meant to be written in Otherworldly (the name used here for the Otherworld's language) will be in parentheses. Occasionally, for important or emotional moments, there will be screenshots of the text from the game, with an english translation underneath.

AU Lore/Story:

This ask blog takes place from the perspective of Adami Adashino after the Awakening Ending (where she defeated scarletella and woke up in her world), in an au where she's noticed that the monsters from the Otherworld have followed her into her reality.

At the current point in time, it's been 3 months since Adami returned from the otherworld. She lives on earth in the modern day, alone (for now.)

She's seen the Otherworld monsters a few times since leaving, but only from the corner of her vision, and hasn't been able to talk to any of them.

Adami remembers the otherworld and otherworld language vividly, aiding in her belief that her dream was real.

Adami doesn't fully understand what her role is/was as the phantom in a raincoat, but suspects she has some connection to them.

908 words, part 2 of 2. More writing under the cut.

Mr. Gap fled the scene, and began to ponder where the others might be. He tended not to spend a lot of time in this reality, but he was here occasionally when he needed to grab something, or trade someone for something else. Sometimes he even just came to scare people. But of course, he had a reason for being here this time: Finding the residents of the Otherworld.

If he had to guess, which he clearly did, most of them were probably stalking that girl in the white raincoat. He knew he was, anyway. That means the first, and most obvious place to look, would be her house.

There were no holes in the girl’s house, at least not in the interior. Of course there were cabinets he could hide in, but those were all closed right now. Nothing open. At least there were crevices in the attic, so he could go up there and listen for anyone who’d be moving downstairs.

Except he didn’t have to listen, because there in the attic was resident #1: Mr. Crawling. Crawling looked at Gap, startled. “(You here why?)” 

“(Human find me. Want know where residents.)” Gap spoke, very matter-of-fact. He didn’t seem too worried about the girl finding out about his and others’ infiltration into this world. Mr. Crawling, however, was mortified. “(WHERE HUMAN FIND YOU?!)” He yelled out, hoping she didn’t know he was there.

“(Other place. Not here. Human not know you here.)” This reassured Mr. Crawling. “(Not yet. They want me find residents.)” This did not reassure Mr. Crawling.

“(Not teach them where me.)” Mr. Crawling said, nervously. He obviously didn’t want her to know where he was! Yet Mr. Gap persisted.

“(Need teach them. They give me consumable item. Tasty. Want more.)” Mr. Gap was NOT letting go of that beef jerky. Who could blame him? With goods being scarce in the otherworld, and difficult to obtain without money in reality, having a commodity like food that actually tastes good was worth it. “(Human not angry. Happy? Relieved. Want meet us.)”

This changed Mr. Crawling’s perspective. “(Human want meet us? Not angry?)” “(Me speak again. Human not angry. They interested.)” Mr. Gap was getting pretty sick of repeating himself. “(I teach them where you. Find other residents first. Not move.)” And before Mr. Crawling could object, Mr. Gap was gone and on his way to the next location. 

That’s one resident found, caught in Adami’s house. Mr. Gap also knew who was and was not in this dimension right now. Mr. Hood, for example, had been coming back and forth between worlds for quite some time now. Gap only knew about this because Mr. Hood needed his assistance to travel between realms. So that’s another resident he didn’t have to worry about. 

That left only three more residents (besides himself, of course.) Mr. Silvair, Mr. Chopped, and Mr. Machete. 

Silvair and Chopped were likely to be in the same place. They’re smart, so they probably had some more strategy for their camping spot than just hiding in the girl’s attic. Of course, they wouldn’t be far, either. Mr. Gap realized it was about the time where he’d need to just start gap-jumping to nearby places until he found them. Mr. Gap began by jumping into various nearby locations, not considering any one spot over another.

After maybe five or ten minutes of jumping, Mr. Gap finally saw them. Mr. Chopped and Mr. Silvair, along with that severed Hand, squatting in an abandoned building. Silvair seemed to be cooking something, and Mr. Chopped was chatting with him. 

“(What make?)” Mr. Gap interrupted their conversation, startling Silvair and almost scaring Mr. Chopped off of the table he was sitting on. Fortunately, Hand caught him, and helped him back up.

“(Consumable item. Not give you.)” Silvair was not very interested in Mr. Gap’s games, not today.

“(Why here??)” Mr. Chopped spoke angrily, clearly not happy about an intruder in his home.

“(Human find me. They want know where resident. I need find resident, teach her where.)” Gap was already tired of explaining this shit over and over again. “(They not angry, they happy meet again. Relieved. Need find one. Find 3, need one.)” 

“(Need find who?)” Silvair questioned Mr. Gap. Gap then proceeded to try his best to describe Mr. Machete. 

“(Big resident, big hurt tool, binding head. Danger. You know where?)” Gap hoped dearly that his description would be adequate. 

Silvair pondered for a moment, before responding. “(observe-) jail.” Silvair spoke a word in English, which led Gap to silence. 

“.. Jail? (What-) jail?” Mr. Gap had no idea what a jail was. Must be a thing in this reality. This makes things complicated..

“(place bad human go. Human cannot leave.)” Silvair did his best to sum up what a jail was in as few words as possible. Hopefully this would be adequate. “(You return with human?)”

Mr. Gap considered. He was originally just going to tell Adami where to find everyone, but taking her to them might be easier.. Nah. He decided against it. “(Not want bring human. They can come here.)” 

“(Teach them I say hello!)” Mr. Chopped exclaimed, enthusiastically. 

“(Will do.)” And with that, Mr. Gap left again, to tell Adami where to go.

Adami, of course, was on her phone, answering questions about GIFs that ironically related to her situation. She looked up at Mr. Gap, ready to hear what he had to say.

I've seen this gif circulating around on the internet... could this be the phantom in the white raincoat that you're talking about, AA?

Huh, that does look a lot like what they looked like.. and what I looked like in my dream. I didn't know other people knew about them online, but yeah, that seems pretty accurate.

Found one of 'em. He's going to help me find the others, for the price of a bag of beef jerky. I hope he actually comes back for the jerky with the other monsters, and doesn't just abandon me. We're finally getting somewhere, but I might be in this damn garage for a while longer. In the rain. Surely, this can only go well.

989 words, part 1 of 2. More writing under the cut

Adami Adashino took out her offerings again. She knew she’d forgotten something. It was so painfully obvious. The phone call told her what to do earlier, and Adami had a feeling she now knew what it had meant. 

“You lost? Say ‘Clothes’.”

That was all she had to do. Well- not exactly. Not just clothes.

The word in Otherworldly for clothes. It had summoned the Bride before, when Adami was in the Otherworld. Might as well be worth a shot now. She took a deep breath and spoke aloud, clearly and briefly.

“(I need clothes)”. At first, it was silent. No one said anything, and no one appeared. It was only when Adami turned around and saw her standing there, in that elegant white dress, that she realized it had worked.

“(Clothes? You need clothes?)” The bride spoke gently, with an air of surprise around her as she recognized Adami. She then looked around. “(Where we..?)” 

Adami was startled, surprised, and excited all at once. “(Meet you! Happy!)” Of course it was good to see her. An ounce of reminiscence from a world Adami couldn’t forget. She then remembered her mission. The bride looked so confused, and a little bit worried. “(Not need clothes. Need help.)” 

“(Help? What help?)” How could she help? 

“(Need find residents. Residents here. Know where?)” Even though Adami knew what she was saying, speaking Otherworldly again felt very strange. Her pronunciation wasn’t perfect anymore. Still, she knew the words, and in this language, that was enough.

“(Where.. here?)” The bride, of course, had no idea where she even was. Adami wasn’t sure what to make of this. She had finally confirmed that her dream world WAS real, at least in some capacity. That meant she had left the friends she’d made there. She needed help, and it seemed like that help was going to come from The Bride.

Of course, Adami had to at least try explaining to the Bride. “(Here different. Different place. This my place.)” Hopefully that translated correctly into this being Adami’s home. “(Residents here. Not know why. Need help looking for them.)” The bride looked at Adami- or at least Adami assumed she was looking at her, with the lack of her face.

“(Not know what help. Can use.)” The bride spoke confidently, but Adami was confused. Can use? Can use what? But her question was soon to be answered, as the bride walked over to a crack in the wall and spoke into it. Adami didn’t hear what she said, but she did see something after she spoke. Of course, it was Mr. Gap, in the wall.

“(what want? Why you here-)” And that was when he spotted Adami. He quickly tried to flee back into the wall, but Adami grabbed his arm. 

“Oh no you don’t- (Return!)” And she pulled him back towards the gap. He looked at her, clearly startled.

“(sorry)” He apologized. But Adami was confused.

“(Why sorry?)” She spoke.

“(You not know?)” And this was where Mr. Gap realized he had made a terrible mistake. Adami didn’t know what he was sorry for- but now that he had mentioned it, she was sure as hell going to find out. “(No sorry. Not need sorry.)”

“(Are residents here?)” Adami demanded more than asked. She needed to know- was everyone else here too? The phone call she had received prior told her they were. She needed to know.

Mr. Gap hesitated a long while before answering. Finally, he spoke. “(Some. Some residents here.)” “(You know why?)” She was getting her answers, now or never. “(I want you to give arm.)” But Mr. Gap clearly had other plans. Luckily, Adami was prepared. “(I have different. Want?)”

“(No. I want arm.)” Of course he was making this difficult. 

Adami turned back to the bride, but she was gone. She reached into her bag and took out a small bag of beef jerky. She ripped it open with her mouth, and handed him the bag. “(Container. Have consume item.)” 

“(Consume item?)” Mr. Gap looked into the bag, reaching in and taking out a piece of jerky. “(Can consume?)” he asked, hesitant about if this was truly edible.

“(Can consume. Can have more. Want know why.)” She was only planning on giving him more if he told her what she wanted- no, what she needed to know. Where were the others?

Mr. Gap chewed on the jerky for a minute, before realizing it had something he hadn’t been able to taste in quite some time: Salt AND sugar. “(Good! Want more!)” but Adami pulled the bag back as he reached to grab another piece.

“(Where residents? Why residents here?)” Adami was so close to the finish line now. Finally about to find out what the hell was going on. Mr. Gap considered his options, and noticing that she still hadn’t let go of his arm, decided it would be easier to tell her.

“(I bring them here. They want meet you again. Can have consumable item now?)”

“(No. Residents where?)” Adami wasn’t just getting answers, she was getting ALL of the answers. At least all that Mr. Gap knew.

“(Hide. Not know where.)” Mr. Gap was about to ask for more of the consumable item, but then he realized he might be able to try something. “(Can find!)”

And while Adami knew he might just leave and not come back, she also knew that she had something he wanted. He would come back for it.. Probably.

“(I understand. Return fast.)” And with that, she let go of his arm, and he slid back into the darkness he was from. 

Adami had no idea how long she’d be waiting, but she was ready to wait for at least another hour or two. She didn’t have work the next day, so she’d be fine. With that, she began waiting, and went on her phone to check the blog she’d made earlier that week.

Hey all! Lemon here. Might take a bit before the next post (2-3 days) because it'll be a bit longer than the previous ones! It'll be the first third person post- a short story taking place after the previous posts chronologically. It'll be about what Adami is currently doing, rather than her making a post from her perspective. Sort of like a short fanfic! And I'm not done writing it yet- so stay tuned!

Nothing happened. I did everything I planned to do, and nothing happened. I dressed the part, spoke a few words from the language, checked in every crevice in this damn parking garage, and even brought an offering (some fruit, beef jerky, and some candy bars. Just food I think they might enjoy.) and no one showed up. It's been about an hour now of me calling out their names- or, at least the names I called them- and no dice. About to head back now.

… Actually, wait. The phone call guy said if I was lost…

I need to try something. I’ll be right back.

It’s raining. I’m about to start my DIY ritual. I think the rainy weather is the best time to do it, since that’s the closest I think I can come to the Otherworld itself. I'm going to a place I think I might be able to find something. I know there’s an old parking garage near here, and it should resemble the “ghost apartments” well enough for it to get their attention. I’m just hoping I find someone besides Mr. Scarletella, since the ghost apartments were his domain. But I killed him at the end of my dream, so I’m entirely depending on the fact that he’s truly dead.

Ok I’m actually going to do it now. Wish me luck y’all.

I got a phone call today. The day after I posted about my plans. It was from an anonymous number, but the ringtone wasn’t the one on my phone. It was a ringtone I heard a few times from a phone in my dream (which is starting to seem awfully real to me). I answered, and the person on the phone said I should be careful in the Otherworld’s language. I can give a basic translation of what they said. 

“Avoid/Be Careful. Many residents (people from the otherworld) are here. You lost? Say ‘Clothes’.” 

How reassuring. I don’t think I’m going to get a single ounce of peace until I can talk to them, but while I was only half serious about following through before, I’m fully serious now. I bought the white raincoat. I have some red paint lying around. I’ll get the crowbar soon. That should be everything I’ll need.

I’ll try to go tomorrow or later tonight. If anyone sees this, wish me luck.

This is gonna be a long text post, so bear with me (or scroll to bottom for TLDR.)

I (24 f) woke up from a very strange dream a few months ago. I read several ghost stories and an article on the occult the night before. As I was dozing off, I started to think about a location from the article. They were called the ghost apartments. Supposedly his domain. I was walking through them, and I saw an elevator. I rode down, and I was isekai'd into this world where everyone was monstrous. Still human-ish (mostly), but not human, if that makes sense? No one in this world had names, so I just called them their traits. One was Mr. Crawling (???) because he didn't ever stand or walk, he only crawled.) Mr Crawling helped me navigate the world, keeping me company and safe.

Well, the article I had read the night before was about this man wearing all red and holding a red umbrella (???) who only appears on rainy days. He was following me through the dream, trying to get me to tell him my name (the article said he steals your soul if he gets your name.) Anyways, it doesn't matter. In the dream, I wasn't myself, either.

The article mentioned another figure who appears on rainy days, the phantom in a raincoat. White clothes, white hair, red eyes. In the dream, I think that's who I was (Or who I became over the course of the dream??) Mr Scarletella (red umbrella guy who I mentioned earlier, name coming from scarlet-umbrella) kept asking my name, and insisting that we belonged together. Eventually, he trapped me in an illusion (but the whole world was kind of his illusion, so I don't really get that part) begging for my name. I still didn't tell him, and I was able to defeat him, ending in me waking up from my dream.

Except, that's not where it ends.

You know how most dreams fade from your mind? Well, something very specific from the dream is that everyone used a different language, one I had to learn as I traveled. I still remember the people I met, and the language VIVIDLY. I'm also seeing the monsters I met from the corner of my eye, whenever I go places. I look up in the mirror, and Mr. Scarletella is behind me. I turn around, and he's gone. One monster/person, Mr. Gap (???) only ever appeared in the gaps in the walls, and if I see a crack in the side of a building, sometimes I'll notice him staring at me. But whenever I go to check back, he's gone.

I don't know what I experienced, but I don't think it was just a dream anymore. I think I might've actually traveled to another world, as strange as that sounds? And for some reason, it seems like they're still trying to contact me? Am I going insane???

I might try conducting a "seance" in my own way. Not a real one, but I'm going to dress in the clothes I had in the dream. They changed a few times, but I was supposed to be the phantom in a raincoat, wearing a white raincoat with blood stains and a crowbar. If I get some red paint, and dress the part, maybe I'll be able to figure out what's going on. If nothing happens, at least it'll ease my fears.

TLDR; I had a weird dream in another world, was chased around by a red guy, then killed him in the dream. Woke up, and kept seeing the people from the dream out of the corner of my eye. Don't know if I'm hallucinating, but I'm gonna try dressing how I did in the dream to "get their attention" and seeing if anything happens.
