Ever since getting my ferret Fiona, I’ve noticed a lot of ferrety behaviors that are pretty similar to myself.

Sleeping extended periods at a time

When I’m awake, I’M AWAKE AND ITS PLAY TIME

Spazzing out

Pretty smart (so I’m told)

Fussy eater

Sleeps in nests

Likes small dark spaces

Social creature

Easily distracted by shiny objects

2 questions: 1. How are y' doin this fine Monday? 2. How long does it usually take for y' to get rough sketches done?

1. Eh, its a Monday. ::shrugs!::2. So it depends on a couple of factors. What am I working on? How indepth is it. And is it full of things I haven't got memorized?Generally I'm a fast sketcher. For things like busts and a few rainbowshy panels, I can get done in 10-20 minutes.If the drawing has legs, add another 20 minutes because I am TERRIBLE at hips, legs, and all that jazz. So I'll be erasing and re-drawing a whooole bunch.I recently did 4 full body sketches with a healthy bit of detail. Cumulatively they all added up to about 2 hours.

How do you make sure every update is so filled with Good Stuff?

The truth is...I dont!See I have zero confidence in my work, and most times I think the posts are boring!!So I kiiiinda force myself to adopt the "If you build it, they will come" philosophy.I trust that some one will like the update, so just draw the dang update Vero!!!

I have a surplus of “Swift Hue should have a little sibling” questions growing in a corner.

And truth is I actually did have a design for a little sibling for Swift Hue. But I never planned on developing that part of the story because like... I wasn’t sure if I was even going to keep Huey!

Course it’s been like a year now since Huey’s appeared, and everyone says they like them??

So I wonder if I should just take the hypothetical headcannons I have hidden away in a dusty notebook... And just use them.

So, because I cant seem to get the pressure to work right on my tablet, digital work has turned into a nightmare. I've been trying to tough it out, even if its consiserably lowered my pace, and quality. But I'm thinking of doing a short intermission with traditional posts. Thoughts on that ladies, gents, and those of you not sitting in the binary?
