perhaps you can tell me more of yours when you piece it together? i’m afraid i don’t have much to offer myself at the moment, i’ve sought many people wise in the field of insomnia, but not one has found an explanation. i simply... have the energy. and if i ever lose it... it comes back.

it is not a filling energy though. not fully. i will need to sit down for a while after a longer period of walking, or sustaining injuries like this... and it’s an exhaustion like no other. makes me wish whatever’s keeping my heart beating would just stop.

but there’s too much to live for to let myself succumb to such thoughts.

so to answer your question... never sleeping feels like... many things. sometimes like a bolt of lightening energizing your every step. other times, it feels like your body is just an empty husk, pained and without purpose.

i do hope we both learn more about ourselves eventually. i’d love to hear your story.
