I’ve met more people that have hurt me through the rp blogs than have become my friend

If we were rping I’m really sorry, I can’t finish our threads

I just can’t anymore.

Some people that give me really negative feelings have started showing up again and I honestly can’t handle that.

I’ve got too much shit going on in my personal life I literally cannot be bothered with askblog drama anymore.

"That’s alright. Did you have a place in mind?" Ann had already come to her feet, leaning on the back of the armchair that, up until then, had been her perch. Turning away from it, she hummed lightly. "On second thought, hold that answer until we get outside. We don’t want to disturb the other readers- or other possible nappers."

Isi nodded, following her outside and smiling brightly the whole time. Once they were out she shrugged. "I don't really know too many places just yet. This was the only place I knew of, did you have something in mind?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.

Ann rubbed her eyes, sitting up. “So did’ya find what you were looking for, or do we need to go elsewhere? ‘Cause I’m ready to go whenever. I may look tired but I can tell you my instincts are just as—” Her tired tirade was interrupted with a large yawn. “Just as sharp as always…”

Isi giggled. "Yeah, I found some stuff! Not exactly what I was looking for though, so I'd like to check somewhere else if you're okay with it." she said brightly, smiling at her.

The little human stirred, her eyes still bleary from sleep.  ”You done?” Her question came out slurred as she regained consciousness. She grimaced when she wiped the spit from her face with a small sound of disgust. “Gross…”

Isi giggled. "Yeah, I'm done." she said, nodding. She hugged herself, waiting for Ann to be ready and awake. She was really amused.

Ann had been half-curled, half draped over an overstuffed armchair that had been embroidered with the Azorius emblem, so far asleep that one side of her cheek glistened with drool. Sleep had always come easily for her, but safety did not. Here, however, surrounded by law-keepers and books, both had fallen on her quickly.

As the faun approached, Isi could hear Ann’s slight snores, child-like and soft.

Smiling warmly, Isi walked over to the snoring woman. She sat down in a chair and stretched, yawning. She decided to wait for Ann to wake up and after about ten minutes she realized Ann wasn't waking up on her own. 

She reached over and gently shook her, hoping she didn't scare her by waking her up.

"Yeah… Uhm. Well the library’s right here." She opened her arms, gesturing to a gleaming building of marble, with titanic columns at its facade in front of the pair. People in blue with silver armor could be seen coming in and out of the relatively tiny doors of the place.

"So, I’m sticking with you in case you don’t find what you need. Which is a good thing, because the chairs in here are super comfy. They make great nap spots… but it’s sort of weird when I do it alone… Since you’ll be here with your reading, it won’t be!"

Isi laughed and nodded. "Sounds like a plan then!" she said eagerly, going inside the building. 

She looked around, finding more about the guilds and the plane itself. Ann was right though, it was impossible to find exactly what she was looking for there. She sighed, going to look for the sleeping woman.

"So we know friends of friends! Ha. For as large as the multiverse is, I guess sometimes it seems kind of small." When Isi related her companion’s disappearance, Ann frowned. "Oh… I’m sorry for that. I’m sure- I mean… You seem strong to me. Well, equal parts strong and careful, for the most part. So, even without him… I think you’ll do fine. And besides! Since you and I are friends now, if we ever come across each other in the great wide elsewhere, we can help each other!"

Isi smiled brightly. "I'll be okay! He's better off where he is." she said, nodding. "And yeah, we're friends now! If I need something and I can find you I'll be sure to ask!" she said brightly, bouncing.

"That sounds… really peaceful. But the Orochi I know is named Shuichi… I’ll make sure to go there someday." She nodded, a little melancholy. "Oh, but um. Are you travelling here by yourself?"

Isi blinked. "Suichi? Well what a funny coincidence! That's the Orochi Sai took me to meet!" she said, beaming. She nodded. "Yeah, I was with someone but...He's gone. I'm not sure where. I know he's happier now though which is what matters." she said, nodding.

"Oh! Yes, that reminds me. I also know someone from Kamigawa, myself! An Orochi, actually. I do want to visit him there at some point." Ann slowed until she was walking beside her hooved companion. "But you’ve been there, already? What was it like? Like, specifically. What sorts of things did you see? I mean, I’d tell you about Innistrad, but I was injured the whole time, and didn’t see much outside of the room I was recovering in…"

Isi beamed. "His name is Sai, he introduced me to someone there! I think he called himself an Orochi? Maybe our friends know each other!" she said eagerly. She giggled. "It was pretty! Sai had me pretend to be one of their gods while we were walking to his friend's house so no one attacked me because I don't look like anyone from that place." she said, nodding. "There were shrines and they village we went to was really lovely."

"Um. Not so much. I’ve been to Innistrad. That’s it. I’ve got a friend from Zendikar though, one who’s currently on Mirrodin, another who made his home on Jund… Um, he’s the scary one. But as for really knowing anything about them… not really." She chuckled nervously, fidgeting with the chain on her cape. "That’s not the sort of stuff you’ll find in the libraries either… Uh… Sorry."

Isi laughed. "It's okay, I get it. It's not really common knowledge. I can just try and find other planes to learn more about them myself!" she said cheerily. "You have lots of friends from all over! That's very neat. I have a friend from Kawigama! He took me there, it's a very lovely plane." she said, nodding.

"Yeah… I mean, you have to be careful in the undercity anyway, but they are pretty good about their areas. Just wayward undead, and carrion eaters to worry about down there, for the most part. Topside, stick with the Azorius, and Boros. The Simic aren’t bad either, just uh. Don’t volunteer for anything, and steer clear of krasis territory, Unless you have someone like me with you! I used to hang out there sometimes. There’s this panther-frog that lives in my old bedroom I’m friends with. He’s totally cute." She mused, smiling at the memory. "Any other questions?"

Isi nodded, making a mental note of it. She had to be careful no matter who she interacted with but some guilds were nicer than others were. She smiled at Ann, hugging herself. "Hmmm....Do you know anything about other planes?" she asked, head cocked to the side.

"The Golgari grow food using rotting matter. In both ways- they have zombies to do some of the work, and when the magic in the zombies go away, they fertilize the ground too! It’s a really elegant system when you think about it…" Ann hummed, pleased with being able to impart this information. "A friend of mine’s mother was in the Golgari."

Isi blinked a few times and then smiled widely. "That sounds like a very interesting system! I think they sound like one of the most helpful guilds around here..." she said, nodding.

"Oh, well uh… Yeah, I probably will tell it wrong, or something, so it’s probably best that you learn it from a book… I can tell you which parts are politically biased… Oh- OH! Or maybe after, if you still want, I can take you to see one of the plays about the Guildpact! It’s both historical, and entertaining."

Isi nodded eagerly. "That sounds like it could be fun! I would love to do that!" she said eagerly, bouncing a bit. She looked around, smiling. "I know a little bit. I know the Orzhov like money and Rakdos are terrifying and need to be avoided at all costs. I know the Izzet like explosions and I know the golgari have something to do with the under city." she said thoughtfully.

"Ah, we’re getting sort of close to the library you were looking for, miss Isi. So uhm, besides learning more about yourself as a faun, what else are you looking to know?" Ann inquired, her voice still bright. Isi’s cheerfulness, Ann was quickly finding, was infectious.

Isi grinned. "I'd like to learn more about this plane! It's really interesting and I'm sure it has a long history. I so love learning, I never got the chance to on Fester so I take every chance I can now." she said eagerly.

"Oh trust me, he is. But uh, thanks. I try my best to be nice. I mean, my brother was, and I do my best to live the way he did." She rubbed her bracer, a little bashful and nervous. "Ah, um, you seem really nice too though! And I still like your freckles."

Isi giggled. "That's a good way to live. I don't see a point in negativity. Lots of bad things happened to me, but if I let it get to me I wouldn't still be living!" she said, nodding gravely. "Thank you! I love my freckles." she said cheerily.
