((thanks! weāre doin alright lmao, iāve personally just been trying to deal with the anxiety of everything going down as best as i can (especially with my mom going back to work a few weeks ago, and even tho her work is providing masks and gloves and enforcing handwashing policies, having temp checks, etc, someone can still end up being careless....... i absolutely hate going out in public during this pandemic, but i made myself a mask to wear for when i do, and avoid being too close to other people while in stores)
but, other than that, iāve been learning how to animate (upgraded my copy of clip studio paint a few days ago because of their sale so i have unlimited frames to work with!) the past few days, working on my very first animation meme! no idea when iāll get done with that but yeh, iām having a lot of fun with it!
and before that i picked up 3d modeling again, specifically sculpting, but i paused that for a bit cuz i spent like a week straight working on a sculpt and burnt out on it hahaha. iāll get back to it eventually tho

((so where have i been?
well, the short answer isā¦..nowhere, really. iāve been regularly posting/reblogging stuff on my main blog but, well, to put it bluntly, 2018 wasnāt that great for me, as iām sure a number of people would say the same lmao
a little list of stuff that happened to me in 2018:
my pc broke down due to an os corruption, and it took 2 months to replace
i got into a relationship. i was very happy! it was my first time being in a relationship in 7 years, and i finally felt good about myself
3 months later, literally to theĀ d a y , my heart was broken. my boyfriend literally broke up with me on our 3 month-iversary. lmao.
i spent the next couple months being in a horrible depression. i had horrific anxiety. genuine suicidal thoughts for the first time in like 10 years. i ate very little, because i just couldnāt, losing nearly 10 pounds over the course of a week and a half (which isnāt healthy, if you couldnāt tell, lol). it was such a rapid change that i genuinely had trouble recognizing myself in the mirror. it took me 3 weeks to get my appetite back
the next couple months were spent mostly recovering. my ex hasnāt talked to me since nearly the end of last september, despite saying he wanted to remain friends. whatever, lol.
one of my cats passed away in mid-november, which sucked, but she was old and i believe she was dying of liver or kidney failure, so itās good sheās not suffering anymore. sheās buried next to our other cat who died around the same time the year before. now itās just my little tiny 12 pound chunker that weāve got left lmao (my mom sometimes talks about kittens sheās seen on websites for local shelters tho soā¦hmmmmā¦..)
iām doing better though. i had a load of icon commissions i did for people on steam recently! literally, all of those commissions i did in the past few weeks have been more than what i did in all of 2018. and iām grateful for that! itās partially because i made friends with a small-ish tf2 youtuber who commissioned me for an icon/art for his youtube banner hehehe
thatās about it. 2018 was just sucky, to put it shortly lmfao. both in general, but stuff that was specific to me as well. but anyway, thanks for listening to me rant about stupid stuff that happened last year. hopefully i can get back to this blog on occasion, i enjoyed it when i was active with it haha))

Hi so forever ago I sent a message asking for snipers colours for a cosplay, I dunno if you remember but!!! I realised I never sent a photo!
And some colours were hard to track down, so I wound up settling for blacks rip. But here you go! The vest is hand made, as well as the prop rifle, and the shirt was dyed along with the patches sewn on!

but it all looks really good! it sucks that you couldnāt find the proper colors for the vest, but sometimes it just canāt be helped i guess lmao
((also iām still hoping to be able to transfer my files from my old hard drive using a sata to usb adapter (i havenāt looked into getting one yet) but if i canāt, iām gonna unfortunately lose the 3d model i was working on for lazy sniper because i didnāt back it up on a flash driveĀ :^(
thereās pretty much nothing on there iām too concerned about losing (thereās a few art files i didnāt back up before it died, but itās only the sai files iām concerned the most about, i could just pull the pngās off somewhere i uploaded them to), but the model iād actually be kinda upset about losing if iām unable to pull it off the hard drive
the model WAS kinda messy, but it was still pretty much almost finished, so iād be kinda :^/ about losing it))
((hey everyone, the 2nd anniversary of this blog is coming up in a few days (the 24th) but i may not remember to do it on the exact day, so iām just saying it now while iām thinking about it, so happy (almost) 2nd anniversary!
i havenāt forgotten about this blog, but iām still out of a functioning pc (besides this crappy laptop) at the moment; i was never able to fix my pc, so itās effectively dead and scrapped. and even though i ordered a new one a month ago (like literally a month ago from yesterday), it should have been here by now, but i ran into an issue where i needed to call the company to confirm my order, and even though i did (again, a month ago!), whoever i talked to didnāt actually send my confirmation through, or they confirmed someone elseās order entirely from my call
SO! i thought for the past month that my pc was being built, and i was getting incredibly anxious that it wasnāt here yet, until i got an email from the company asking me to call them again a few days ago, and it turns out it wasnāt even being built and they were getting ready to cancel my order because they were under the impression that i didnāt want the pc because they waited like 3 weeks to email me about it for whatever reason!!! so iām really mad about that!!!!
so now my pc wonāt be here until the middle of march probably, hopefully, if the confirmation ACTUALLY went through this time (donāt worry, iām never ordering from this company again after this mess)
anyway yeah, thatās all i wanted to say, iām sorry about neglecting this blog (though, the past couple months have only been because i just CANāT do anything about it), but i havenāt forgotten about it, and i want to get back to it when i can))

If possible, you can take out the hard drive from the problematic computer and connect it to your laptop with SATA-to-USB cables to access your files.
((i have thought about doing that, but if the hard drive itself is inaccessible due to this corruption, itād be useless to try
i also donāt have one of those converter cables unfortunately, so iād have to take the hard drive out of this laptop and place my pcās hard drive in it (thatās simple and something i know how to do, if itās even possible), but i also donāt want to ruin this laptop for good by placing the pcās hard drive in it and having it do something bad to this laptop (i donāt know what it would do, but SOMETHING)
as experienced with computers iād like to believe i am, iām still very inexperienced in the grand scheme of things, so there are things iād rather not try, and just leave it to people who DO know what theyāre doing))

long story short, my pc is currently unusable and i have to rely on my old laptop (which is disgustingly slow) to do things until i can get my pc fixed if possible, or replace it if it canāt be
my pc somehow corrupted an essential program necessary for loading windows itself (winload.exe), and i canāt get past a recovery error screen no matter what i do, so iām looking into taking it into a local repair shop to see if they can fix it, and if not iāll probably have to replace it entirely. iām potentially going to lose a ton of files off my hard drive if they canāt fix it or pull the files off the hard drive. none of the stuff from this blog will be lost thankfully, because i backed it up to a flash drive a while back, but i might lose a ton of other files i havenāt backed up
my pc had been crashing incredibly frequently over the past few weeks, and i knew that eventually iād have to replace components in it or the whole thing entirely, i just didnāt think that something like this would happen, and this soon
iāve tried installing my cintiqās drivers on this laptop, but since this laptop has been sitting collecting dust for over 2 years since i got this pc, it hasnāt been updated, and the cintiqās drivers require something from a particular windows update to be installed properly. iām still going to try to update it as far as i can to install the drivers so that i can work on art (and also try to take small commissions to help offset costs), but iām not particularly hopeful iāll be able to
anyway, thatās the state of where both i am and this blog is at, just letting yāall know))
