CogDiscord banned situation explained!
Hey, hows going anyone? Well, I wasnt being much of good lately, and I have in thought to bring it up on what's going on yesterday between my ban envoviment on CogDiscord.
So let me explain it further! Yes, I got banned from there for simply no reason, and the whole "Serious TOS" business is a lie! So for a further explanation reason for it:
Yesterday I got this message from the bot of that server, saying that I got banned for violating the Discord's Terms of Services rules that you can see the screenshot below:
I got outguard cause, first thing, it never happen from that server for this to happen, but second of all, I NEVER DID IT! My Discord status of violation is clean, and I couldn't possibly take any more of the claims, as it can see below of my account:
(It translate to "Your account is all in order" in Brazil Portugues)
So uh...what happen since then? So me and my friends got better understanding and conversations in regards of Star's (the owner and main moderator of the server) decision on that matter. Accoring to him on CogDiscord, it was due to serious
Unfortunity, the specific reason for it is very...VERY vague, and it cannot let me understand why. unfortunity cannot share any of the prints about the claims in regards of like, asking on Star in their dms over it so take you all with a grant of salt for it:
Basically, two of my friends, of which I will give it anonymous, ask Star in regards of my ban, and the best of their understandings, it resumes with the most corporate responses that could given in, of which it's bad on it's own considering it's a single person running a niche ass MOTHER: Cognitive Dissonance Discord Server, but whatever.
It goes as the following resumes: We cannot share any of the information or reasoning to anyone as to why Henrique got banned, and I cannot share it due to Discord not allowing and the decisions given will be privated for the time being. If Henrique has any problems about it, he should contact with Discord's TOS and should be resolved from there, thank you for this.
By first of all, Discord TOS rules never gives any points to actually not give the information for their users on why it got banned or so. By second it goes that, by literally saying, I cannot ocntact Discord about the TOS rules cause I NEVER BREAK IT TO BEGIN WITH. So it was mostly a total bullshit response and the most corporate that I've ever seen a staff would take in.
It goes without saying that I wont be coming back from that server ever again, and I don't think Star would be cared as much, as one of my friends says that gonna be leaving the server for the events that has happen and Star responded by ignoring it and being "cheerful"
As if doesnt care in regards of their bad behavior and decisions for it.
So in the end, I wont be coming back to the server. BUT! Doesnt mean that I leave the community, cause I don't really leave community basis cause of things like this, I always enjoy the content of it and I will for the rest of the life to take in!
