Cracow says hi and welcomes you in her house! Ask the little sister of Poland, The Free, Independent, and Strictly Neutral City of Cracow with its Territory anything you'd like to know about her life as a little republic in post-napoleon Europe and the haven for Poles from the other partitions.
Characters:
Cracow, Wanda Łukasiewiczówna,
Age: 7(physically)
Likes: art, drawing, bedtime stories, her big brother and his capital, walking and admiring her architecture, her governess.
Prussia, Russia and Austria are her protector powers and take care of her, even if she lives on her own. For example, Prussia hired the governess, Austria or Vienna regularly visit and supervise her education in person, as well as provide many of the materials and Russia takes her on trips that are educational too, in a way.
Edith Schmidt
The Prussian governess, hired to make sure Cracow is well educated(and that it goes the way they want it)
Previously had no idea that personifications exist, is still very confused about everything. For example, she has no idea about the human names existing.
Not as strict as she could be, because Cracow is very childish and little and she does not have the heart.
Normally, a governess would not be a part of the household, but there are like, 6 people in the house so they all eat together, including Cracow. Except that she's Prussian and only speaks German for now, and the others are all Polish. They speak a little German. But she doesn't know Polish at all.
Others in the household:
Stasia, old cook, used to work for the previous mister Cracow.(WHAT!!! Drama shall happen) Babies Cracow a lot, she plays with her grandchildren sometimes
Jaśko, the handyman of the house. Does the job, and a lot more than what he's supposed to because there isn't a need for many people to be employed. Edith thinks he's a bad influence.
Zosia, the older maid smiley, nice, a bit shy. Cutely flirts with Jaśko all the time they are together.
Grzegorz, takes care of the singular horse that lives with them and the outside of the house in general. Napoleonic wars veteran who had fought alongside Poland.
Bartosz, a government clerk who does Cracow's paperwork and takes care of the official side of things. He was named after Bartosz Głowacki. Doesn't live with them but visits as frequently as he can. Edith thinks he's a good influence. He's not so sure of it.
Marianka, kitchen help, eyes full of stars, head devoid of thoughts.
Aniela, the younger maid, little miss sarcastic, the actual bad influence here
