Just to be clear, the above post IS sarcastic. I even put “sarcastic” in the tags, but I think a few people missed it, lol!

Of all the things that bother me, this actually ranks very low on my annoyance scale. I was amused at the sheer fact that it goes from “edit some of the gems” to “eliminate the gems” after one reply. If I was younger, I might be a little more affected by it, perhaps becoming even put off by creating some gemsonas. However, I am an adult, and I grew up on the internet, so these types of comments are just tiny blips on the radar… 

I encourage you budding creators not to take these type of comments to heart. If you draw anything, or write anything, or create anything, you will at one point encounter these types of comments. Of course, I’m not advocating that people completely ignore critique, but there are sometimes you go, “well, ok,” then move on. Sometimes it’s more effort trying to engage these comments than ignoring them entirely.
