whats the land like there?

SOL: i havent been able to go outside since i woke up here. theres windows in some rooms, but not much of a view out of them, and theyve got fogged glass anyway.

What were your parents like? Which one was the shark?

SOL: there’s a big age gap between us, so what she thinks is her being “hip” and “relatable” is just her being… annoying. the last time we talked– i think, at least– we… we got into a fight. i didnt think she understood me. she took offense to that.

SOL: i never knew my dad. mom took me and my sister and moved away from him when i was pretty young. i dont know if he knows what happened to me, or if he even knows im alive. i get told a lot i look like him– he’s the, uh, he’s the shark.

21, trans male. shark/maned wolf hybrid.

sol was, originally, a rather ordinary person. his difficulties with forming bonds with people left him alone for most of his life, and he spent each day feeling like he was wasting time. unable to progress and unable to find his place, sol resigned himself to the idea that one day he would die without having left his mark on the world.

he woke up with a months-long gap in his memory in a strange place, and has no idea how he got here or where he is. so far everyone has been avoiding giving him clear answers, and he feels like he’s being deliberately kept out of the loop. with nothing else to do, sol finds himself stagnating again and hoping that maybe he’ll find a way out of this situation.
