Firstly, good news

Okay, sad news y'all...

Lately the phone I had been using to do any kind of art, comics included, has been shutting down and reseting randomly, refusing to turn on and just being a general pain in the neck. I really can't say when I'll be able to draw anything again so I just figured might as well try to send some of my really old stuff about the AU here so I can at least have something to share with you all.

Sides that, online classes started so even if my phone was working, updates would have seriously slowed down regardless...

Anyway, the art stuff I made before I officially started the AU!

The original design for the Steven/Stephen fusion (I really wanted to wait until they fused in the comic to say this but not sure if I'll be able to now so might as well say the name I chose here for now. SPOILERS, I decided to go with Sten cause the name just stuck with me.

The original avatar I made for the blog back when it was still called asktheuniversetwins, which just felt off. Definitely still like the new one better though.

Finally, the first real comic I made of the two to work out what kinda dynamic I wanted them to have. Wanted to post it sooner but felt it would have been off...

Hello, Starlight and Stardust, you certainly gave everyone a happy April 1st. We all have fun to see you acting in reverse. But seeing how the game was making you uncomfortable, thank the stars it's over. Did you have fun? Did everything go as expected? Everyone is so happy. Thank you for everything.

Steven: We're glad you liked it! Don't worry about us, it is only for one day... Usually.

Steven: Did we have fun? Steph?

Stephen: Yeah, it was pretty fun.

Steven: Yeah! Pretty much everything went awesomely! Lars was so freaked out and Sadie thought it was funny! Onion looked like he liked it and Sour Cream and his friends looked like they were having fun with it, too. Peedee was gonna get stuck working, on April Fools(!), so we kept him company! He... Probably appreciated that!

Stephen, do you ever feel bad that you dont go to school and have as many friends as Steven?

Stephen: Not really. Emergency missions can happen at any time and me being a town away without a warp pad would be pretty bad. Dad taught me anything the gems couldn't help with, though. Plus, I can talk to people around the town if I wanted to make friends.

Steven: Still, I reeeaally wish we could have gone to school together. It would've been so much fun...

Stephen: Lots. Of. Relief.

Steven: Oh man does it feel great! Going through our whole April fool's day prank without smiling is sooo haaard!

You two have such a sweet sibling relationship! But have you ever been in a fight with one another?( like how one sibling disagrees with another and ends up in screaming match and not talking to each other sort of thing?)

Steven: Shout out to that time Stephen accidently made me drop my biweekly cookie cat so I wouldn't talk to him for days.

Steven: Besides that, we haven't really had any heavy fights that we didn't fix up pretty soon.

Steven, how did you get yourself to be pale?

Steven: I've... Always been like this? I mean, when me and Steph were still one baby, I guess we looked tanner but after we become two people, I've, we've(?), always had pale skin.

Stephen: My cheeks are in agony. Smiling for so long hurts.

Steven: Ahhhh! It's so hard NOT to smile! This is fun and all but I'm so glad its only for one day, I don't know how you do it... No offence, Steph.

Stephen: None taken, I feel the same.

So stephen, do you know any fun facts about the gems that we might not know?

Stephen: Well, Pearl knows a whole lot about all kinds of gems out there and really likes using her hologram power to demonstrate how they look and work. She's also surprisingly great at maths, she helps Steven out a lot with that.

Garnet has two rooms in the temple. One of them looks like some kind of Rome Palace room built on snowy mountain top at night time with a ton of stars. It's really pretty... And if you touch her gems, they feel totally different! One's warm while the other is pretty cool.

Amethyst... Well, Steven could probably tell you a bit more about her than I could.

What does Stephen like doing when he's alone?

Stephen: I usually just do the hobbies I mentioned before, meditate, play the clarinet, listen to music, go for walks, stuff like that! Sometimes I train by myself, too.
