[Couldn't be. She hadn't reached anyone from the sm-8 before. The mission had been doomed and Elsie died along with her mother and the other researcher on their mission to the blood moon.... unless. There was a universe out there where they survived?]

Elsie tried to warn. Her voice is quieter like shes having to fight with everything in her to be heard.
"No. I have had enough of others trying to manipulate with my psyche. Making fake versions of my dead mother. I see the ghost of my crew every time I travel somewhere new. So tell me what you actually want."
[Part of her wanted to keep Elsie speaking. A version of the SM-8 crew that was alive. Another part of her wanted to turn the radio off immediately and find a way to erase these last 10 minutes from her memories permanently.]
