I'm Not A Monkey!

My name's Goku an' I'm going west with Sanzo an' everybody to stop what's makin' all th' youkai go nuts. Some people call me th' Seiten Taisei or th' Monkey King or th' Great Sage or a monster, but all I know is I'm HUNGRY! So if you got any food or just wanna talk about stuff, come on! (Independent RP/ask blog based on the series Saiyuki by Minekura Kazuya, with influence from Journey to the West. No FC--the cosplay used in pics is my own unless otherwise credited. So I think it's time to say this

As much fun as I've had on Goku, I think it's safe to say that my RP muse for him is kaput. I made this account on a whim while I was bored with access to a camera and a cosplay, and now I've been inactive long enough that Tumblr won't show me any activity.

I'm still going to cosplay him at future conventions, so I'll still be around the Saiyuki tag, and if anyone wants to talk Saiyuki or RP with any of my other muses, I can be found at just-a-storyteller. I also have a Skype and might be up for random bouts of being Goku there, so feel free to send me an ask at just-a-storyteller if you want the contact info!

"How are you?" She smiled back at the male.

Hakkai knitted his eyebrows together then smiled softly with a small sigh "Well I'm sure you must be hungry.."

Sanzo glared hatefully at the back of Hakkai's head. He'd be damned if he made the saru start whining for food now.

Gojyo stretched and leaned against the wall "theres a real nice buffet down the road from here. Its suppose to be a pretty fancy place from what the innkeepers daughter said"

-WHACK!-

Gojyo fell ungracefully onto the floor holding the back of his head "DAMN IT YOU CORRUPT MONK!! WHAT WAS THAT FOR!!!"

"Leave the innkeepers daughter alone. Last time you did that the guy made us pay double when he found out."

Gojyo's cheeks flushed red at the thought of it.

Hakkai stood and walked quietly over to the dresser, pulling out Goku's freshly cleaned clothes "here you are Goku. We'll be waiting downstairs for you"

His stomach was growling, since he'd been asleep for so long. "A buffet?" he asked, perking up. "Sounds great!"

The bickering between Sanzo and Gojyo was pretty much the sounds of home to Goku, indicating that all was right with the word. If anything, he was just glad it wasn't him being smacked around for once. Still, as he tugged his clothes on, being careful about his shoulder, he was frowning again. Why didn't they believe him? And who was that girl anyway?

Still thinking it over, he made his way downstairs and followed his nose to the buffet.

  "There!" said Goku, finishing and holding the shield up. “How’s that look? Wanna try it out?"

In the other room, the boy’s mother sighed as though chasing darker thoughts away. “Thank goodness you and that boy arrived when you did. Is he your son?"

The boy watched Goku made it, and how he did it so he could always make another if the wear in tear became too much. “That’s awesome! Yeah! I’d love to try it out!!" The boy nearly jumped for joy as he grinned up at him.

Sanzo shook his head in her answer. “No, he’s my follower." It was easier that way, and safer. Why anyone would think that Goku was his son was beyond him. The two didn’t even act like, “He’s just helpful."

"Okay, then how 'bout you hold this," said Goky, handing back the shield. "An' all you gotta do is block me. Think y'can do it?" With a flourish, he summoned Nyoi-Bo back into his hands and smiled back at the boy.

"Follower? I see..." said the woman, though her tone implied she didn't really understand at all. "You're both very helpful, as far as I'm concerned. Are you only passing through or will you be staying in town a while? The inn is gone, but for saving our lives, the least we could do is put you up for the night."
