I got nowhere to go and nobody wants me around. Am I the best person? No but at least I don’t punch homeless kids or pretty much tell their friends outright “yes, they are worthless, they are never gonna go anywhere.” Vince has told me about the shit you've said. If you want me to kill myself, then just fucking tell me that to my face. Or do you enjoy seeing me in pain or angry? You tell me that I don’t try to deal with anything, but you’re over here making it a point to make sure I know, I am worthless, that all of the dreams I could ever have are gone. Ya wanna know something, I’ve already known that for most of my life and all you’re doing is rubbing salt in the wound. I don’t care what fucking problems you have or what you’ve dealt with, if you’re doing that kind of shit, maybe you’re just a cunt. Why don’t you go to that idiot friend of yours and fuck him or something, cause I’m done dealing with your shit. I don’t ever want to see you again. Good fucking riddance.”

The event that caused Ben to have to run away from Starjoy and got his friends arrested was when his buddies were pulling pranks on little kids in the town. They hid by a stair well and caused people to fall off. It all went horribly wrong when one of the people happened to land on a spiked fence. Ben immediately ran and left his friends to be found guilty and since has developed insomnia and suffers from flashbacks to the event.

as a bonus, Ilene lives in a house just outside of Starjoy. Her parents are Jasper Fitchback and Rosa Fitchback. Jasper Fitchback is a calm and jolly Munk whom runs a shop in Starjoy while Rosa Fitchback is a rather large and sassy Draygoon whom home schools Ilene.

Not a lot has changed since the siege started. I’m still living in an old abandoned house living off what I can find or steal. Only difference is that I’m a lot more likely to get shot or stabbed now and snipers are a constant threat. I’m not sure how long I can last out here in this war zone. The damn rebels and military don’t really know what a civilian is and tend to be pretty trigger happy either way. I’m wondering what to do. Maybe I’ll man up and shank someone in the alleys, see if I can get my hands on a weapon. Either way, I wasn’t sure before how my life could get anymore stressful but I guess this is life’s answer to that question…

Some info:

wells parents die but just after shingle was born and pox and shigs went to a foster home but it was really badly run and they couldn’t get the support they needed for shingle’s dental care and he was really sick and it was just a bad scene and then they were gonna split pox and shingle up and pox was like “nah” so they skadoodled and started squatting in an abandoned house while pox worked like 3 jobs and shingle begged for food and stole what he could get his hands on then they met tipp, who joined their motley crew she had been kicked out/ran from her physically abusive parents at like 10 or something and practically ended up the same way as the other two in this au everyone but pox dies wooo shigs dies from something he caught from a sewer rat while they were hiding in an alley and Tipp dies when she gets arrested a little too enthusiastically headcanon: Tipp lost her shoe kicking a cop that called Pox a bitch

Ben - Some poor street kid who ran away from his terrible household, hoping to find something better. He found that he had become a petty thief and wasn’t a very good one. he eventually met up with Vince, whom latter would kill himself…

Vince - A boy from a bad household who just couldn’t take it. He ran away from home as well and tried to find ways to make the pain go away. He mainly went with pain killers. He met Ben and the two became quick friends, not for long though. Vince started to realize that his life was probably going to go nowhere so he decided to just end it by stabbing himself in his left eye.

In the end, Ben simply lived out his days alone. Met a few kids along the way, many of which died as well. One of them was some kid named Shingle or something. Ben ended up dead himself during a holdup at a convenience store that went horribly wrong. He found himself with a few 45. rounds lodged into his body and he bled out on the street…
