What is your full name? Gaston Legume the Third

What is the meaning/story behind your name? My dad is a self absorbed....’gentleman’. He named both his twins after him, it’s Junes name to. I have no idea what it means and I don’t really care.

Do you have any nicknames? Trip.

When and where were you born? The Isle of Trash, who cares when, I’m still not off.

Current age? Eighteen.

Physical.

What is your eye color? Brown like dirt.

Do you ever wear glasses/contacts? Do sunglasses count ?

Hair color? Darker brown, like darker dirt.

Have you ever dyed your hair? Hahahaha. A Legume dyeing their hair ? You’re funny.

Height and body type? 6′2″ and very muscular.

Do you have any birthmarks? No.

Any scars or other markings? Yes.

What is your favorite and least favorite feature? What’s not to like ?

How would you describe your style? Isle Trash. I hear it’s quite hip in Auradon at the moment.

Personality.

Positive traits? Protective and Bold

Negative traits? I’m too much of a smart-ass and am disobedient. Just ask dad.

Are you more introverted or extroverted? Is there a middle ?

Do you have any talents? I’m an acrobat and I can nail a pigeon with a stone from eighty yards. Though I haven’t done that in ages.

Do you have a good memory? I wish it was worse.

Any fears/phobias? I don’t like deep water. 

What do you have a soft spot for? Food.

Any pet peeves? Currently this stupid questionnaire.

Are you a good student? Is any Legume ?

What is your favorite/least favorite subject? What makes you think I have one of either ? 

Family and Relationships.

Who are your parents? Gaston Legume Sr & Paulette Legume

How would you describe them? I’d prefer not to. I value my health.

Who is your best friend/Who are some of your close friends? Harriet is a valued ally, Cillian is a friend despite our differences & Willie my penpal seems pretty cool.

What do you look for in a friend? I don’t think I have a set thing I look for. Its whatever.

In you’re comfortable answering, what is your orientation? I’m not so I won’t.

Have you ever been in a relationship? I am in one now.

Have you ever been in love? Mmmhmmm.

What do you look for in a partner? Morgan.

Do you believe in love at first sight or soulmates? I didn’t used to.

Do you see getting married and/or having children in the future? Yeah, I could someday. Only if I got off of here though. I’d love to have a family of my own.

Closed: Lost and Rescued

1 month, that’s what it took for Willie to find more fault in the bureaucratics of Auradon. He’d been petitioning to bring the Legumes and Morgan Carroll to Auradon, not having a care for what had happened in the past. He was determined to get them out of that foggy snake pit and into some sort of safe haven, whether it be Auradon Prep or the ranch. Then they’ll gave good eggs and a warm bed at night. 

A plan was coming together in his head, and something deep within was telling him that this might just work. Screw the red tape. Scribbling on his notebooks and doing some research, he figured he’d give it a shot. If you want something done right, you gotta do it yourself, huh?

After finalizing a few ideas and packing a back, Willie Pride Peep was breaking into the Isle. “If everyone else can do it, who’s to say I can’t?” He muttered to himself, grabbing some batteries and wires as he headed to the docks.

Trip had certainly been through an emotional roller coaster in the past few weeks. He made a friend from Auradon, fell in love, got a boyfriend and came out to his brothers. And himself. He needed a bit of time to clear his head and figure out the whole whirlwind that was now his life. So he was by the docks watching the ferries that would come in with all of Auradons leftovers and the occasional gawker from the mainland who would come so they’d have bragging rights among their peers.

He was at his usual dockside haunt, an overturned ruined boat, when he noticed that indeed there did seem to be a passenger getting off. Maybe he should go give him a right proper Isle greeting, but while there was a certain aspect of this that appealed to the dark haired boy something made him hold back.

At the Docks - Closed starter

“ Oh,” Trip started, a bit taken aback by his brother’s tone. It didn’t seem to bode well for the conversation they were about to have. In all his life he never even thought he’d have to have this conversation yet here they were. “ Well, uh y’know how we are supposed to like, find cute girls and settle down and it’s like the one thing dad thinks we won’t mess up ? Well I did. Mess it up, I mean. ”  Okay, this is not how he had wanted this to go. “ I mean, I am dating but not anyone I’m like, supposed to be. ”

June picked his head up and stared at Trip, completely confused. In retrospect, yeah, his brother hadn’t talked to him about any girls he’d met in months, but he hadn’t thought of it much until now. He definitely hadn’t expected them to discuss dating of all things today, but it made his guard go down a little. He couldn’t think Trip would do that much damage when dating, “Dude, did you get someone pregnant? Dad’s not gonna make you marry her, he’ll probably give you an award.”

“ Oh god no ! ” Trip’s expression changed from nervous to one akin to horror. “ Eww no. Nope  that didn’t...no. That wouldn’t be possible with who I’m dating anyway. But no.” A perceptible shudder ran down his spine at the thought. It even momentarily distracted him. However his mind soon returned to why he was here. “ It’s not possible because I’m dating a guy which is why I haven’t been talking to you as much recently cuz I didn’t want you to hate me or else get in trouble but I can’t like not tell you either cuz keeping it from you was killing me, ” the boy blurted out, his words rushed.

“ House queer. I dunno, it’s like when you get sick of being in your house and its starting to make you feel insane and like you need a change. Maybe it’s not a common term, I dunno,” the tall teen responds, tossing his apple core at some random blokes retreating back with a smirk. “ Probably a stupid and possible a racist question, but does your dad eat vegetables, being like a cat and all ? ”

Trip was leaning against the remnants of an overturned boat. He was fiddling with the slinky Morgan’s penpal had sent him while he awaited his twins arrival. The boy’s stomach was in giant knots, flip flopping back and forth and to be honest, he felt like he was going to be sick. He wanted to believe it would all be fine, but he had a fear that maybe this wouldn’t be alright with June. Then he’d have to pick between brother and boyfriend.

He glanced around as he heard steps, brown eyes seeking out the very familiar frame of his twin. “ Hey.”

“Hey,” June greeted his brother in return, staring at the weird spiral toy he was playing around with. He wondered what it was briefly, but sensed Trip’s playing with it was fueled by nerves rather than fun. It was a little scary seeing Trip so unsure of himself. The Legume boys were always confident, puffing their chests out, even when under stress. But something had been different recently, something with Trip, and it left June feeling disconnected from his brother.

“So… what’s so important?” June didn’t mean to sound so flippant but he had his guard up against any surprise Trip had to tell him.

To Billy Proud-Chick

Thanks for the advice, I did like you sugestted and talked to him and now, well I’m dating him now. So thanks dude, it really meant a lot for me. He now knows it was me who left them. Turns out he felt the same. Still don’t think my hart is beeting properly.

It’s not everyone who thinks like that, mostly just dad. He doesn’t want his sons to be anything ‘less’ then the ideal manifestashun of maskulinitie.  Apparently that means no dating guys but he can go suck it. I’m tired of living my life his way.

You are? oh man I am SO glad. I feel like a real proud dad. No problem though, look at y’all, all happy and cute together. I don’t know about that heart beating thing, I’d look into that if you can.

Well like I said, your dad is annoying and yikes. I hope he likes having cowboy boot-foot prints all over his back because I’m ready to squash his egg-eating behind like a bug on the hot pavement.

He couldn’t help it, he just wanted to be closer. His free arm slid around Morgan’s waist almost without guidance, as if it was supposed to be there. His breath hadn’t returned to normal since he had left that last note on the windowsill, it had gone anywhere from gasping breaths to halting for moments at a time. All he could do now was stare at the face of the boy who had stolen and warmed his closed heart.

His mind had started to slow down, instead of focusing on the what ifs, it started to process exactly what was happening. And he knew in that moment that no matter what happened he would do his best, do everything in his power to keep this and Morgan safe.

Morgan initially was a little shocked at the sudden hug, having never gotten one…especially from someone so important to him. His head was buzzing with thoughts, his hands shaking as he moved to return the embrace.

His arms easily made their way around his waist, his whole body seemingly trembling in a sort of excitement. He just felt so happy, it was hard to explain, especially since he prided himself on being indifferent all the time.

“…this is nice..” Morgan whispered to Trip, unable to take his gaze off of his face. He looked partially handsome under the moonlight, the soft light essentuating all that he liked about the other teen.

“ Yes, it is,” Trip agreed softly. Maybe he was too caught in the moment, but he couldn’t help himself as he bent forward slightly and placed a gentle kiss on Morgan’s lips. Honestly he had no idea what he was doing, it was the first time he had been fond enough of anyone to even try it. “ He pulled his head back slowly and blinked once. “ I’m sorry. I should have asked first. ”

June looked over each of his shoulders, sensitive to who may be overhearing them. He didn’t really care about getting in trouble, ‘trouble’ was a pretty regular occurance for their family, but Trip’s nervousness made him worry too, “Look, meet up later, okay? Down at the docks? I’m here for you, man.”

He noticed the glances over his twins shoulder, a perfectly reasonable reaction to have given how he Legume boys had grown up. It somehow made him even more nervous but he tried to keep that to himself. “ Okay. Docks later it is. Thanks man. “
