“ a girl should be two things: classy and fabulous ”
When someone is annoying the shit out of you
It wasn’t a question of if the gate would keep him safe, or if it was just trapping him inside, it was the fact that it was locked. He could be slightly claustrophobic and no matter the outcome, trapping him or keeping him safe, he just wanted the option to open it if need be. “Stay calm, Javier, stay fucking calm.” Javier muttered to himself, pulling against the gate. With another metallic squeak, the ‘ stupid piece of shit ’ ( as Javier was calling it ) still refused to budge. “God damn it!” Turning to look behind him, an irritated glare quickly found another. “You just gonna stand there or fuckin’ help me out?”
There could have been many things that she could have been worrying about, like: how was she going to get out? how many walkers were out there? Though, Élodie didn’t care about either -- the new scarlet stain she had splattered on her Chanel top was more of a worry than escaping. She knew she would have to figure out a way eventually, but why would she try and pry open the door to only face a group full of the dead? Élodie rolled her eyes, returning the man’s glare, “Yes, because I’m not stupid enough to open a door that lets those dead assholes in. If you really want to open it, I’m pushing you towards them as an offering.”

Chuck looked up. Stared at the girl and continued eating. Ignoring her comment completely. Who did she think she was? His mother? He ate how he wanted. He was hungry.
When the male rendered now response, and continued to eat like an animal anyways, Elodie scoffed. “Seriously?”
“God, how the fuck have you survived this long?” Jace murmured around a mouthful of the first food he had allowed himself to have for three days, the rest doled out to his brothers. “You shut your eyes like that every time you see something disgusting? Because if you do I’m surprised you aren’t walker chow.”
The question made her arch her brow, she wasn’t exactly offended by the comment, but it wasn’t music to her ears, either. “Because I’m good at everything I do,” she quipped back, “I’m sure I’ll endure this longer than you will.” She said it as if it was a fact, and to Elodie -- it might as well have been. She shrugged, a fake smile crawling onto her lips, “I can kill with my eyes shut, it’s pretty simple once you get the hang of it,” she replied, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
“I’m pretty sure you’re just supposed to close your mouth, El.“ Nadja winked, laughing with her mouth full of whatever the fuckin’ stew this week was supposed to be made from. She washed the bite down it a long drink from the warm beer someone’d found. Something bean shaped floated near the surface and she flicked it at Elodie with her spoon from across the table. When it caught Elodie in the face, Nadja laughed spitting beer into her own lap. “Aw, you shoulda caught it in your mouth!”
Elodie wasn’t exactly ‘prim and proper’ -- there was a long list of actions that she had done that disproved the idea all together. However, she did come from a background where manners were mandatory, and even though the apocalypse had been going on for longer than a year now, she was used to seeing people take small bites, not rip into their food -- like Nadja was doing. She scoffed at her comment, about to jab Nadja back before she felt something hit her forehead. A look of disgust crossed over her features, quickly taking a napkin and wiping it off. “Nadja,” she groaned, “that’s disgusting -- I’m so going to get you back for that.”
