9. Abacination
All that time allied with Gyger apparently taught Lynn on some level that eye torture is an okay thing to do as long as you let people slap you afterwards.
What did you do to deserve this?
Oh. Right.
You slip her the tongue one time and sheâs out for your blood. Great. And now youâre strapped to a chair with some silk sash or something while a blue-haired blob hums and does something over a fire or something. Hell if you know. Youâre practically blind.
"If you donât know how to look but not touch, Mister Hiro," she leans in and says sweetly, "Then you ought not look at all." She raises some hissing white thing? "Ahh. It isnât as if you are using these anymore, anyhow."
Hot metal is pressed to your face and now youâre literally blind.
"Ahh, what beautiful fingers you have, Mister AbsolonâŠ"
Crack. Thatâs the sound of one of those beautiful fingers breaking. âWhat wonderful music you make, as well! Aha, the best sound is the type you may hear only once, hm? Fleeting. Because I know that your bones will never shatter in this particular manner ever again.â Lynn smiles for just a moment before smashing her hammer into the next of the accordionistâs fingers, delighting in the sound of the crunch and the sounds from his throat.
The kneecaps were first, and once all the fingers are shattered, the pianist places a hand on her cheek. âOh my, and I suppose this means that I may never hear your accordion again? Such despair.â A giggle gurgles up, and whatâs broken next is his Absolonâs hand as a whole.
Heâs out like a light by the time sheâs done with his femur. âOh? So soon, Mister Absolon?â His upper limbs are bleeding and contorted in ways that no limb ever should be, and his lower ones are halfway there. âTut tut. Such a shame.â
Raising her hammer once more, Lynn gives a wry smile. âWell then, have a safe journey, Mister Absolon.â She strikes at his head.

12. Drowning
This is why you donât accept cake and tea from a crazy blue-haired lady.
"There there, Mister Skye. Iâve read things before in my grandfatherâs books about how this is supposed to feel." Lynn smiles politely at the programmer as the bath fills up. "Itâs supposed to be calm. As if you are returning to the water of the womb, hm? You feel warm, warmer, and then you let go, and everything goes blank. Itâs like falling asleep. Peaceful."
Skye doesnât reply, but itâs not like she expects him to. Very hard to when youâre 1. bound, 2. gagged, and 3. crying.
"Shh," she pets his fluffy, fluffy hair. "Itâll be all right, Mister Skye." She stops the faucet and dips her finger in to test the temperature. Shaking her finger off, the pianist turns back to Skye with an unwavering grin. "I want you to die warmly, after all. But I know how much you hate fire. So please, bear with me, Mister Skye."
She taps her chin. â⊠Should I drop your laptop in there with you?â MUFFLED SCREAMING âSh, quiet now, Mister Skye. Oh, youâre right, if I dropped your darling in, that would result in electrocution, and electrocution risks burning. Silly me.â
Time for the main event now. Lynn tugs Skye closer to the water. âAhh, I had chosen your own bathtub because I know you certainly wouldnât want your last moments to be in the generator room. Arenât I a kind woman, Mister Skye? Goodness, you are quite heavy.â She rolls her shoulders and sneers down at the guy. Hm. He could easily overpower her if he really tried. Are the drugs still in effect? Or has he already given up? Well, it doesnât matter now. Polite smile.
"I promise to send Mister Hiro and Mister Stella all of my comfort once youâre gone. Ramona, as well. Suguri." Are those comforting words? "Should I fail, they shall know that your last moments were not ones of pain. And should I succeed, well⊠I suppose you shall be seeing them again very soon." She grabs his head and holds it underwater until the bubbles stop coming up.
Okay, can i just add my two cents because i havent said a thing like this till right now because im as passive as a brick.Â
I wanted to add some snippets from Gyger WHILE he was doing this.
Gyger sighs,âYou know, if you dont treat red pepper flakes being in your eye, youâll go blind.â Shakes his head,âWouldnt that suck?â He moves some into Shuichiâs nose. How kind.
See, WHILE HE WAS VERY CRUELTO SHUICHI, he told Shuichi!! How to!! Not go blind!! It wasnt his intention to blind Shuichi, just push him around and scare him. He /told/ Shuichi he needed to treat his eye when Gyger left and Gyger left right after putting the flakes in it. It wasnât like he just did this and left.
And yes, Gyger has PLENTY of reasons as to why he did this.Â
The reasons without himself involved includeÂ
Gyger: But it isnt just me. No, you should apologize to a lot of people. Your lovely girlfriend who you just keep abusing. Itâs disgusting to watch. Everyone youâve lied to. Hiro for being so god damn insensitive with being lovey dovey or missing his girlfriends trial. You know, his dead girlfriend? Funny, right? You should apologize for ever laying a hand on Lynne. The damn girl hardly weighs 100 pounds and you /punched/ her? What are you? A coward? Fuck you. You should apologize to Suguri for reminding her she lost her own damn brother. You should apologize to everyone. Im sick of your fucking excuses.
His reasons only including himself is that he found Shuichiâs âactâ really really really insulting and Shuichi knows something about Gyger that could ruin his entire career. I purposely made Gygerâs character VERY dependent on that career. You wont find him in an au without it.Â
He was vicious about it, but vicious is his type. He canonly lived with a psychopath since the day he was born. He doesnt really understand how to handle these things /gently/. Itâs a character flaw.
I just think he shouldnt be compared to Nui because Nui murdered someone and im fine with if you feel sad for her, mourn her all you want. But you need to realize what she did was bad and she didnt have anything other than selfish reason. She didnt want anyone to live. She lied and led an entire room to blame Lynne.Â
Gyger never lied about what he did he was straightforward and honest. He wouldnt lie about it because he knows what he did was the right thing.Â
Yeah I can totally see the reasoning behind Gyger doing this.
Even if this isnât the best thing he could do in this situation, he did it because HE felt it was right. Nothing that anyone else could say would change his mind and he just wanted to protect people from a possibly toxic person by teaching them a lesson. ofc shoe couldâve apologized to him sooner and avoided all of this but it still stands that Gyger TOLD Shuichi about the dangers of what Gyger was doing and his upbringing certainly doesnât help and Shuichi KNOWS ALL OF THIS BECAUSE GYGER OUTRIGHT TOLD HIM BUT HE STILL WENT AND DID WHAT HE DID ANYWAY. tbh I hope that thereâs still something that can be salvaged from Gygerâs and Shuichiâs relationship though because Shuichi is genuinely sorry but heâs far too afraid to talk to anyone about it because what if Gyger tries to hurt him again? The people he wants to and needs to apologize to are all close to Gyger and what if he messes up? Basically this whole situation is shoeâs fault and Gygerâs actions may have been violent but he felt they were necessary and you really canât fault him on that.

SHAMELESS BEARDED FLIRT. Lynn shoves at Hiro with all 100 pounds of her strength, face red. There's contempt in her eyes, but also fear. She flits from the wall so that her back is towards a more open area.
She dons her polite smile once again and forces the contempt back down her throat, leaving well-mannered serenity instead. And fear. Holding her arms and stepping back once more, handkerchief at the ready, she requests in a controlled voice,
My, Mister Hiro. I do insist you ask permission before touching me.
The lady brainstorms ways to get this fuck out of her sight.
Lynn lightly pushes him away on instinct because she's not a very big fan of suddenly being pushed against a wall and kissed. It takes a second for her to realize who this is and another second to reaffirm that this is the real life and not fantasy.

And she's thrilled. As she puts her hands over her cheeks in a rare display of genuine modesty, her lips curl up into a bright smile. She cautiously looks upward and goes in for another kiss. Ah, so this is fulfillment. It feels nice.
