Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance, the follow up to Transgender Awareness Week. It was founded on November 20, 1999 by a trans right group led by Gwendolyn Smith to memorialize trans people such as Rita Hester who lost their lives due to violent transphobia. It has since also expanded to include trans individuals who passed away from being denied proper medical help due to their identity and those who sadly ended their lives due to depression caused by external and internal transphobia. These individuals were living humans who just wanted to be themselves and were denied that right by institutions and society who failed to understand the meaning of being transgender.
Over 23 years have passed and transphobia is still a common issue, especially in this social climate who tends to politicize everything deemed “different”. Despite this problem, society is rapidly changing and becoming more accepting of trans people existing with others. Those who left this world may be gone, but they will never be forgotten. Whether you are trans yourself or a trans ally, be the bright, shining light in spite of all the darkness.
anxiety be like
Ableds will look at us who don’t work and are housebound because of our conditions and be like, “It must be nice to stay at home all day”
But in 2020 they lost their shit and bits of their sanity during the two week quarantine when they realized being stuck at home is completely different than voluntarily staying there.
The second they got tired of the hobbies they took up, like baking (which was very popular) and anything else, they didn’t know what to do and got stressed and wanted it to be over. It was boring, it felt like a cage, blah blah blah.
That was just two weeks.
It’s not that nice, is it?
Oh wow yes when I’m checking while out
This actually happened to me earlier today. Damned force of habit 😳🤣

Hmm, yeah, about that... 👀
Yes, Please!
I know that the temptation is there. You can’t find your space to be you. There’s few people who you trust with your passion. You question if its worth it. Worth the hassle, worth the stress, worth the sacrifice, worth the adventure. Is it all just fantasy? Is it selfish of you? blah blah blah.
I know. But can I ask you something? Is purging your girliness worth it to never be you? Please, stay girly.
Be androgynous. Be a little girly. Swap it up from time to time. Go all the way, for all I care. But please, stay girly. If there is any bit of you that is fem, don’t forsake it just to fall into our society’s mold. Stay girly

Old post I know, but needed this considering my recent feelings. Thank you Candie <3

can you tell us more about all the sissy things you did at college?
Well I did tell some things I did on my blog but I will admit that was a long time ago, however I would like to resume more on that soon.
But for now, if there’s specific sissy things I did/do that you’d like to talk about then my DMs are open!
Happy women's day to anyone who identifies as a woman, cis women, trans women, straight women, queer women, white women, black women, women of colour, indigenous women, disabled women, young girls, old women, women at home, women at work, women with kids, women without them, mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, grandmothers, leaders, trailblazers, geniuses, powerhouses.
you all make me so proud, keep smashing the patriarchy legends💖✨
Happy women’s day everyone!
Women from all walks of life have been the most important people in my life, awakened me to my values I still hold today, and some effectively took me in as one of their own, especially when males made my life so difficult.
I will always be supportive of women everyday! 🤗
Enough of you losers love pics of my feet in DMs figured I'll post some here! Reblog if you want more posts like this beta bois 😘
Special shout out to the special losers who paid for some of these lol!
The girls at college turned you into a sissy?
Well technically I was always a sissy, the girls at college just helped me realise it.

Men pull their t shirt up over their head. But you are a sissy, so you need to do it in a feminine way. From now on you will take your shirt off by reaching down, crossing your arms, and pulling up. Just like women do. Now come sissy, practice removing your top from the waist and not from the collar. Good boy!
Actually I’ve always pulled my t shirts off like this. My best guess is, since I was a very clumsy kid and struggled with motor skills, and lacked a male role model growing up, it was probably my mother or aunt that I learned this from. It’s way more comfortable than trying to pull my shirt from my collar.
I guess the ‘sissy’ seeds were planted in my head much earlier that most would think...

So next week I’m finally getting my lashes and nails done for the first time since lockdown. As I’ve mentioned before, I’ve been nervous about getting my brows done out of anxiety of being judged for being too feminine. But I must admit the thought of having ‘Selena brows’ is quite tempting. Maybe this is the inspiration that will push me over the line? I’ll see how I feel on the day...
Update:
Bad news - my country is now back in lockdown today.
Good news - before lockdown started, I decided to get my lashes done again, but also overcame my anxiety and got my eyebrows done just like this! So happy with my Selena brows!
While I haven’t been posting here for that long, this is why the sissy community on Tumblr is so cool. They’re so encouraging ☺️
That’s how it happened to me. Never underestimate the power of socialisation.
what's your favorite nail polish color? do you keep your nails painted or just do it occasionally? Also, do you enjoy smoking? and if you do what is your favorite brand?
My favourite nail polish colour overall, I would say purple. It goes well with everything but also stands out well. When I have my nails painted, I go a salon and ask for gel polish, so yeah I like to keep them painted as long as possible.
Yes I enjoy smoking. My favourite brand is (or was) Richmond Superkings Menthol. Unfortunately menthol cigarettes have been banned here in the UK, so I’ve been trying some alternatives. But if they become available again I will definitely go back.
Thank you for the question, love your Tumblr by the way!
