jim starts out feelin uncomfortable with being referred to as male. says something about it to her parents and they tell her about transgender people and jim's like "hey, that's me."

homu and scallywag are both supportive of course. homu shares her human girl clothes she collects and scallywag tells jim to beat people up if they look at her wrong. it's nice, but somehow still feels uncomfortable.

later on she decides "ay. i ain't gotta be girly to be a girl." so she returns her skirts to homu and decides she's just fine with her scarf, and she has no desire to get rid of the name jim. because gender norms are lame as hell and she's too cool for that shit.

scallywag and homu are both happy that their daughter is happy and they beat up transphobes together in their spare time.

scallywag belongs to my gf doe-goddess, homu's mine, and jim's kind of shared between us. homu and scallywag are lesbians btw. scallywag's gender is left ambiguous here but i don't want them being seen as a straight couple :'3
