One with a penchant for arson and the other an unseen sharpshooter. Of course, it's not too hard to figure out who they are. The lack of reply was due to the young girl being in the realm, “Okay! Remember what I told ya’ll keep an eye on each other and your surroundings.” Riley said, she looks around, smiles. She's coming home to see her father again, in person this time

“The only one we’re gonna need to keep an eye on is you, shortcake,” the purple-haired one said, rudely pulling RIley from her thoughts

“Adam” Riley said, revealing his name, “I swear to all that's holy if you're gonna keep making short jokes.” Riley turns, pointing at him, acting like she's threatening him

“Well, if he’s as tall as you say he is, im gonna have to pull new ones,” Adam jokes back. Riley sighs and just starts walking

“Let's just go,” she said and started sprinting to the church. She wanted to see her dad. The two others who came with Riley, Clay and Flower, both started running after Riley

“You want us to follow you, then start fucking sprinting!” Adam yells, then he starts running after the trio

✝️: she perks up, her hearing far better than Ruv's nowadays. "I think someone's coming? I hear footsteps"

"Oh." Riley didn't have anything to say; she looked worried, though, really worried, "I should be coming soon, I-I wanna help," she says, She sounds unsure, but there's a hint of determination in her voice

🔊: "take your time, Riley. We have things mostly handled"

✝️: "Ruv is right! Of course, you're always welcome here. But we don't want you getting hurt trying to rush to us."

“Oh. Her face screams even more worry now, “Is everyone staying safe with these shadow things running amok?” She asks her voice quieter than before

✝️: "I... i do not know. I don't leave the church often, for my own safety and for Ruv's... I'm concerned for those of us who have no permanent housing, like Whitty.."

🔊: "somewhat, I suppose. I have seen much blood on the streets as of late. Some human, some not."

"A-All of what?" Riley's happy face now shows worry once she hears the scream
