La Squadra and their second origin's flag

So, I'm back for a bunch of bad aesthetics gays

To make it clearer, those are what I think their ORIGINS are along with a few Headcanons. They're all Italians but (apart for Pesci) not 100%

♠️ Risotto♠️

It's supposed to be the Sicilian flag. I know Sicily is part of Italy, but also it's a whole island and has a quite atypical culture. And Riz really hold his native Sicilia dear...(It's canon that he's Sicilian)

⚜️ Prosciutto⚜️

VIVE LA RÉPUBLIQUE VIVE LA FRANCE (yes I'm french how could you tell-)

His mother was a french model for Dior (yes, long live prejudices) and he has a fairly good french level, though he's not exactly bilingual and has somewhat of a Napoleatan accent

He's the only 100% Italiano out there (Prosciutto and him are only cousins)

It's a (very) badly done Moroccan flag based on my former Headcanons that his father was Morrocan. He can't speak Arabic for shit though, only knows common stuff like Inch'Allah or Wallah.

I'm sorry I know this one is real shit but I can't think that Illuso has NOT British blood flowing through his veins I DON'T KNOW WHY.

His mother was British and they lived too in Britain till she met an Italian woman so they moved to Italy.

His grandfather was a German man (suspiciously living in Argentina by now...) and he taught him bits of German. But Ghia is too Italian nationalistic to care much.

La Squadra Favorite Music Genre Headcanons

Risotto: Goes without saying that he likes Metallica and Metal, but he also enjoys a bit of Nu Metal and Nirvana. He's not that much of a metal/rock purist and likes to get a taste of different genres. Fav songs: Rosemary by Deftones and Rape Me.

Prosciutto: Idk this man might as well just listen to 70s cheesy songs about love and pizzas. He's a national-elitist when it comes to everything music. Fav songs: Bello e Impossible and Tu.

Pesci: Copies hi Aniki publicly, but swings his head to Formaggio's rap's beats. The two of them sometimes meet up somewhere far from the HQ and listen to aggressive West Coast beats. Fav songs: Can't C Me by 2Pac and Without Me.

Formaggio: I ABSOLUTELY see this man as a big rap enjoyer idk WHY he just gives me this vibe. Like, he'd blast old-school American rap and oddly relate to the lyrics. And argue about rap's authenticity and quality with Prosciutto. His favorite rappers might be The Game and Salt-n-Pepa. Fav songs: Lookin' at You and Shoop. Also, he enjoys way too much 883 and his favorite song is Sei un Mito.

Illuso: ...hear me out: this guy gives me huge Roxanne (by The Police) vibes. I feel like he used to be a sex worker. Because I decided so. So his dedicated song is Roxanne and that's all I gotta say. So I guess his favorite genre is rock ?

Ghiaccio: Ghiaccio likes the Beatles but is also an Eminem die hard fan BECAUSE I SAID SO. All this rage gotta go somewhere artsy and provocative. So like Formaggio, he likes rap and they listen to it together while rolling joints and doing raunchy talks like good ol' macho guys.

Melone: She kind of enjoys all types of music, but her favorite one is movie soundtracks (if that counts as one?). She's the type of person to be chronically online and so her playlists mainly consist of movie and videogames soundtracks.

Sorbet: This man is forced to be a gay assassin in the 90s, but was born to be an eccentric Frenchman from the 50s. I won't elaborate further, it's all about vibes. Going from there, his favorite singers might be Jacques Brel and Dalida (for the Franco-Italian but technically Egyptian, and queer sides). His favorite songs are Les Bourgeois and Julien.

Gelato: I feel like he doesn't really listen to music. But if he had to, he would probably go for Sorbet's music anyway, which is quite classy and refined. Being highly intelligent, he'd grasp french fast and maybe become able to sing along with Sorbet. Also, he's able to enjoy some trashy dance music at parties.

Risotto x Prosciutto Headcanons

Confesses first: Risotto does because he's more straightforward, and that Prosciutto tends to be more reserved. Risotto is slightly less stuck-up about feelings.

Initiates the first kiss: Risotto did, being more spontaneous once in private. Prosciutto was in The Nile lol.

Big spoon: Obviously Risotto. He's taller and bigger, even if Prosciutto struggled before accepting to be dominated this way.

Worrier: Both worry a lot due to their work and reputation, though Prosciutto is more vocal about it.

Top: Risotto topped at the beginning of their relationship simply because he was the only one to know about say gex. But later on, they both switched depending on the mood.

Better with money: Risotto is used to handling money, being the leader of La Squadra. Of course Prosciutto is a serious man when it comes to money, but let's say that Risotto is slightly better at managing their marital funds.

More experienced: Technically, Prosciutto had more partner than Risotto, but they were all women. Risotto's the only one to have been in a mlm relationship before Prosciutto.

Steals blankets: Risotto, being a giant, opts for the good ol' blanket thief. But Prosciutto is fierce, so it can sometimes end in a fistfight at 3 am. Just imagine the scene...

Apologizes first: Prosciutto shows too much pride to me, so Risotto might throw apologies more easily.

Love language: Prosciutto is all about sugary talk in private, while Risotto is not shy with PDA and might brush hands with him during the day.

Song to describe them: Criminal by Britney Spears. Why ? Because they're both criminals (duh) and that their relationship is therefore deeply wrong but... intoxicating to say the least.

IT'S CHRISTMAS YALL SPECIAL EDITION 🎁🎄

Gelato → Risotto

Gift: A rare collector vinyl of Metallica's Kill Em All

Reaction: Surprised not because he didn't expect a Metallica gift, but because of its rarity. He's genuinely moved and listens to it alone that night.

Risotto → Prosciutto

Gift: A custom-made combat knife with Prosciutto’s name engraved and the handle wrapped in crocodile leather.

Reaction: Prosciutto goes completely silent. Then:“…You trying to make me emotional, capo?”Prosciutto carries it everywhere after that. Even to the bathroom. Even to bed. Especially to bed.

Prosciutto → Pesci

Gift: A rendezvous at the hairdresser because his cub cannot possibly fool around looking like a cancer carrot that bred with a toxic pineapple.

Reaction: Pesci doesn't get the mean message and just smiles dumbly like he often does.

Pesci → Melone

Gift: A trans-colored scarf he knitted himself (badly, but with love)

Reaction: It's quite subtle for those who have no gaydar/transdar/flagdar but Melone instantly gets it and smiles for three days straight (hem)

(Ghiaccio is known in my fanon world to love vintage comics)

Reaction: Ghiaccio was delighted. He may have already readt them all, but now he has the books with him (he lost the ones he previously had)

Ghiaccio → Formaggio

Reaction: Formaggio bursts into laughter, immediately sets it on fire to test it. It works. He’s impressed and definitely loves it.

Formaggio → Illuso

Gift: A golden and silver pocket mirror accompanied by a sarcastic note:“For when you miss yourself. So always.”

Reaction: Illuso pretends he hates it, but secretly keeps it in his mirror world's throne room.

Illuso → Sorbet

Gift: A designer knife set engraved with tiny roses and skulls and with Sorbet and Gelato's initials.

Reaction: His eyes sparkle and he chuckles softly. He immediately kisses Gelato just because, then thanks Illuso sincerely.

Sorbet → Gelato (what a surprise)

•I headcanon that she's a trans woman (Yeah as if I didn't imply it in every aesthetic I made-). She gained her stand by studying gynecology to understand her troubled feelings and gender dysphoria how she could in the early 2000s climate. She thought it was just jealousy towards women, but she realized it not long before she died, so she remainded in the closet all life long.

•She actually has a degree of gynecology but obviously never had the chance to put it at use because of her first kill.

•It was a shabby, stinky and horrendous old man that tried to rape her to ''teach him a lesson''. He thought she was a young gay man. Well...she killed him with a wrench nearby. After this she had to cut off everything and that quickly led her to La Squadra.

•Her real name is Melania. Adopting the code name Melone was a way to almost use her chosen name in everyday life.

•She loves giraffes and has a big plushie on her bed that takes all the place but oh well.

•Actually isn't very close to Ghiaccio, She was just assigned with him for work by Risotto for some reason, and they try to cooperate properly. Her bestie is actually Illuso.

•Illuso knows about Melone/Melania's trans identity since he caught her trying on a dress in front of a mirror.

Ghiaccio Headcanons

The favorite character of @k4t4s4n btw ;-)

He got picked out of the street by Risotto at his most miserable state, and was one of the first to join La Squadra, precisely in fifth after Formaggio, Risotto, Sorbet and Gelato.

(To go further, I believe that Gelato, Sorbet and Risotto once belonged to the previous Squadra Esecuzioni, and were its last survivor after an assassination turned into a lethal mayhem. Then Sorbet and Gelato trusted Risotto to become their boss even if he was younger and less experienced, because they didn't want to take on too much responsibilities. Then Formaggio tried to pickpocket Risotto; it turned into a fight in which Risotto got impressed by Formaggio's wit, so he proposed him to join La Squadra. Then Risotto ''adopted'' a homeless, downfallen Ghiaccio and little while after a crazy purple-haired scientist. Illuso came in later on. After his family got killed, Prosciutto took Pesci along with him, and having experience in mafia stuff, he quickly got close to Risotto. You know the rest...)

Why Risotto Nero is overrated.

Yes you read exactly what you read. It's going to get me enemies but I'm gay so you cannot hate me or else that will be homophobic lol. (It's humor)

Risotto is too loud-mouthed. People seem to view it as some goth shadow cold daddy leader, but in fact we see through the anime that he talks in fact too much for his own good. For instance, he promised that he'll kill the Bucciarati Team :

''So Trish is around there somewhere … They’re getting closer … I will kill them all. I swear it.''

And guess what ? He killed none of them lol. He also said: ''This is your end! Take this! Metallica!'' To Doppio...before dying.

He promised to kill, but he ended up being killed instead. That's why Prosciutto is a better character to me. He has the standard of doing rather than saying, and he teaches Pesci to never say ''I'll kill you'll because a true assassin keeps their plan for themselves and does the job instead of bragging.

Moreover, Risotto could've killed Doppio and therefore the Boss in one second if it wasn't to torture him uselessly. Risotto made the mistake of his life, literally. Because he preferred to show off.

For Risotto's defense though, he's observant, like when he noticed Sorbet and Gelato's absence.

He has a great stand and great senses. He was able to find Doppio and Bucciarati's team.

But he's still, in my opinion, a slightly worse character than Prosciutto (the best). Maybe I'll do a post where I praise Prosciutto.
