My hockey team is relocating and I’m actually so sad. I’ve been going to games since I was 6 and now I’m 21. I have seen so many players make it to the NHL and even seen some lift the Stanley Cup. So many people are acting like this move doesn’t affect anyone, but it does. There is a whole community of people who I’ve have and love. Without the team there would be no them. The players, staff, and people there mean so much to me, and it is heartbreaking to know that they won’t be 10 minutes away anymore

Tonight I tried to trade with Devon Levi for his stick. I went over after the game to try one more time, we were laughing with each other and he said that he couldn’t so I left after stars of the game

After I left, my friend who worked for the team texted me and said that Devon was looking for me but went into the locker room after she said I wasn’t there anymore

Now I’m sad because we only play the amerks once a year
