General information regarding the befriending of a star

If you have found yourself drawn to one in particular for quite some time, they have chosen you, that’s a great start.

Once you are aware of this, you must greet them, it’s only polite.

Generally, you’ll find that you didn’t plan how you greet them, there’s a reason for that.

Simply, they greeted you first and you responded.

You won’t remember their voice, but you will always remember them once they speak to you.

Keep in mind, if they have chosen you, it’s possible they require your help; this isn’t always the case though.

It could be that it’s been a while since they’ve seen you, you’ve always been friends after all.

Stars have an infinite memory, you do not.

They will always hear you, even when you can’t see them, even when they sleep.

If you dream about them, be careful, their place is not your place, yet.

If you convince yourself that you belong there, you will meet them again some day but not in that life time.

You will cry when that happens and you won’t know why.

Stars don’t have big issues, they may just like listening to your Song, it may sound closest to theirs or completely different.

If your friend has asked you for help, you won’t remember that they did or that you helped.

But if you’ve taken a sudden interest in a new hobby, you’ve added a new Chord and they quite like it.

If you can hear and remember their voice, you’re probably related.

Star voices are tactile, goosebumps are an indicator.

If you think you could be of celestial relations, stay awake from jobs that specifically ask you to bare your skin or teeth; your bones are valuable and your Song is stored in your teeth.

If you are experiencing heartburn and your feet go to sleep frequently, my deepest condolences, they have passed on and they loved you very much.

Take care of yourself

Dionysus wants to remind you to relax, take a moment to reminder yourself to take a moment to find yourself. He want to remind you to make sure you are mentally okay.

Apollo wants to remind you that it’s okay to take a break and it’s okay to seperate from a stressful situation. It’s okay to just do nothing for a bit and listen to music or doodle a little something to keep you happy.

Asteria wants to tell you that it’s okay to daydream and imagine things. It’s okay to dream and be creative even if others tell you that it’s childish or you need to get your head out of the clouds.

There’s something that happens in this community and I for the life of me do not understand how it is allowed.

Look… The Gods are Divine. There is a part of divinity that us, as mortals, are not equipped to understand. They are literally beyond us. They are more than us. That doesn’t mean they are perfect. If they were perfect, they would always get along with each other. There would never be clashes between Gods because all Gods would be Perfect and therefore exist in perfect harmony. We know this isn’t the case. In both modern and ancient worship, the Gods clash sometimes.

Instead of insisting that the Gods are some human idea of “perfection,” which puts them into a mortally understandable quick look box, why don’t we accept that they are DIVINE and therefore INCOMPREHENSIBLE to us as mortals.

We, as unique and complex mortals are allowed to have complex relationships with our incomprehensibly complex deities. It’s only natural.

But we let people say that the Gods should be viewed as perfect, never criticized, and if you have complicated feelings about any one of Them, you’re committing the “sin” (and let’s be honest, that’s what it is here) of hubris.  But I think to even insinuate you understand the Gods well enough to know they are perfect and have no flaws, you’re being more arrogant than the complicated feelings could ever touch.
