you've been put through the ringer, drawn and quartered a thousand times over by circumstance and the way life goes, you are wrought in iron and blood and nothing can stand in the way of your dreams. some people call you hard you just say you're the reason you're still standing.
born to parents who didn't want her, isteri odo had to fight from the moment she came into the world; lifelong members of the Pact, her parents decided that they would actively disown the idea of their children and leave them to fend for themselves, a tradition not unheard of in the Pact.
it, to hear them tell it, let's the cream rise to the top so to speak; you learn a lot about someone's character when you leave them stranded in the middle of a proverbial ocean and watch how they push against the current.
by the time isteri was 15 she was already adept in the use of the moon element and an extremely good fighter (practicing something akin to Nanquan martial arts discipline of Hung Ga Kuen). this allowed her to surpass her parents easily as she rose through the ranks and she has yet to acknowledge them formally.
the only family isteri considers is her sibling and for them she would go to great lengths, as well as the members of the Pact... a group that has taught her self sufficiency and strength, albeit through what most would consider cruel and unusual punishments.
in the back of her mind rumbles seeds of dissent and doubt, thanks in no small part to the way the world has turned and the sudden rabid look in the eyes of every faction and their defacto leaders. she has no idea how long her position will last and how much she can hope to afford herself and her sibling should things go sideways.
maybe it's time for a change...
momus
↪ my brother and blood, for you i trymomus gives you purpose, they are your blood and the only blood-family you will claim. you've looked out for each other since you were children, but you more so than momus. you feel responsible for them and their growth and any misstep feels like it's your fault for not teaching them better. they seem lost in the current world and you feel as if it's your own fault and it's making you uncomfortable.
castor & pollux
↪ the twins are twice as much headache
you have known castor and pollux their whole lives and the twins are well aware of your position and status within the Pact and, give you served as a surrogate big sister to the two, they try to push their limits with you. they are a headache but not in a sense that you hate them, more that they are another responsibility and involved in far more trouble than any two people should be allowed.
boreas
↪ in and out of my life like a breezeboreas is confusion for you. as a member of the covenant they baffle you in ways you can't begin to explain, finding yourself confused every time they come around. there is a fascination there that transcends the norm and some might consider it borderline obsession especially for someone like you. but boreas keeps showing up and you keep rising to the challenge.
dryops
↪ in and out of my life like a breeze
you have admired them for so long. you can't even remember the first time you saw them, or even how old you were at the time... you barely remember how old you are now, but you can feel that rolling off of them in waves. the energy and the power all wrapped in the wisdom of someone who's done it all. your first crush and you've convinced yourself they will always be untouchable even though you have come together to train more than once.
