I’m so behind this week because I have still been having terrible migraines. literally every day for the last week. no amount of pain medicine has been helping :( ugh

update: I went to the doctor yesterday and was given a shot of some sort of pain reliever (cannot remember its name) and when I got home I slept for 12 hours. like actually. my watch clocked me falling asleep at 6pm, I woke up in the middle of the night because I was starving, went back to sleep and got up this morning just before 8am. my head still kind of hurts, but nowhere near as badly as it was before. + my sleep schedule might be fixed now. so, so happy.

and now comes the time where I have to bust ass to get all of my work done on time. I've seriously done next to nothing so far this week in terms of schoolwork. about to lock in fr.

hopefully the migraines stay away. lowkey I think there may be mold in my windows again (old ass windows, so much condensation) so I'm going to clean that later today.

I do really think that the use of ChatGPT and genAI by students highlights the fundamental flaw of our education system focusing almost entirely on grades and test scores rather than generating curiosity and inquiry, which produces individuals who fundamentally do not understand that the purpose of an assignment is meant to be to learn *how* to do something, not simply to produce a product you can turn in to get an A+

chronic procrastination

I have gotten into the terrible habit of putting off nearly all of my schoolwork and assignments until the last possible minute and it is so insanely stressful every week.

So, starting right now I am going to be making an active effort to do at least four hours of work/assignments every day. I am going to come up with some sort of system to keep track of the work that I do and then post it all here to try to keep myself accountable.

Wish me luck.

If anyone has any tips on how to really buckle down and lock in, or fun ways to track assignment progress or whatever... let me know.

somehow managed to strain my lower back about two weeks ago & I have been slacking so hard because of the pain. not to mention I have not been sleeping well because of it. really trying to get back in my groove but it’s been difficult.
