i miss the past because all of the people i love are there, but i also enjoy the present because all of the people i love are still with me through memory. i reconnected with a few old friends recently and it brought back memories of every other lovely friend i have had. i am awfully sensitive and sentimental, but it is because i know my heart will always keep warm with the love that was exchanged along the years. i just hope my past friends know that my love for them will always be there. i love life and love and friendship and community and every other amazing thing that fuels and encompasses our hearts—there is tremendous beauty within that!
