It's very funny to me whenever I get forced ai content on my feed it's always a terrible idea at it's core.

Like the people that claim it can create "literally anything" can't even come up with anything remotely entertaining to put into it. Like the terrible thing that is generative ai aside, the people who use it just arent even creative to begin with 😭😭 It's not because they want to create something it's because they're so jealous of those who have actual talent and passion that they make a tool that tries it's best to hide the fact they don't have any.

Something really interesting to see like, as a creator with the whole dan and phil thing is the amount of people going "haha yeah I basically stalked these guys" with absolutely zero remorse or self awareness

Like a lot of people I notice within online communities think that just because something isn't "Breaking a law" means that it's completely okay that they did/are doing that. Even when the person behind it says "Hey this shit really affected me." A lot of people assume it is the responsibility of the creator to "just be okay with it" because "It's how the internet operates" and that the creator has no right to be uncomfortable with said actions. It's a balance of parasocialism almost where people who don't see the creator as anything more than an entertainer start to walk beyond the line of not even treating them like a person.

Very true, I see this across all fandoms where a real person is at the center. Whether it be a big celebrity like Taylor Swift/Ariana Grande level, or just a smaller YouTube creator, people project their expectations and ideas of who they believe that person is and tend to get really upset if those ideas are challenged or refuted in any way by the creator at the center of their fandom.

If you want a good laugh related to this, go look at the Gaylor subreddit or tumblr tag. They truly believe Taylor Swift is a lesbian and she’s sending secret lesbian messages to them in all her songs and media appearances and it’s probably my favorite example of parasocial fans projecting onto a celebrity or creator. Like you really can’t make something like that up
